  1. What's new in this club
  2. Yeah! He surprised me a lot. He was very good. The cast was great.
  3. The cast is amazing. I love Jack Black in this kind of movie.
  4. Call me cheesy but my go to is The Holiday. I'm a softie!
  5. Muppet Christmas Carol. All day. Every day. From November through January.
  6. 'Tis the season! With Christmas right around the corner, do you have any Christmas or holiday movies that you can't go without watching? There are a few I try to find a way to watch each holiday season, but the more the merry-er My Top Three: It's a Wonderful Life Elf Home Alone Here are a few of the more popular Christmas movies, but feel free to share any not on this list, Popular Christmas Movies: A Charlie Brown Christmas A Christmas Story Die Hard Elf Gremlins The Holiday Home Alone How the Grinch Stole Christmas It's a Wonderful Life Klaus Miracle on 34th Street The Muppet Christmas Carol National Lampoon's Christmas Vacation The Nightmare Before Christmas The Polar Express Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer The Santa Clause Scrooged Bad Santa Frosty the Snowman The Year Without a Santa Claus
  7. I discovered spiritbox through my partner and have fell in love with them, the entire eternal blue album is great but my personal favorite is Circle With Me - spiritbox also just got back from a concert and that was such a fun experience. We went to see Dance Gavin Dance and Iā€™d recommend any song from their newest jackpot juicer album
  8. Great topic and great song/band choice! It's impossible for me to pinpoint one song that stands out to me right now, but i enjoy an insanely amount amount of genres and artists. My kids have been in control of my song choices lately so I've been listening to: Godzilla Main Title Bad Guy by Billie Eilish And the (underappreciated) Vivo Soundtrack There's been a lot of these lately... and I don't foresee it changing anytime soon. Lol.
  9. If you are listening to something right now, share it here so we can listen together! Feel free to check out other threads for specific genres, like The Metal Thread Listening now:
  10. šŸ˜† But that really is something. It definitely showcases both of their range and diversity.
  11. Lol no šŸ¤£ Crowe has a band and he doesn't sing bad at all, but that scene sure is cringy šŸ˜… What I find interesting is that both Gladiator and A Good Year are from the same director with the same lead actor, but are completely different movies.
  12. My personal favorite is "A Good Year" from 2006. It just gives me something that I can't and won't let go šŸ˜
  13. Thanks for sharing, @glen441! Do you have any favorites or standouts that you want to share? I also love a good feel good movie. The first one that popped into my head was The Pursuit of Happiness, but I'm sure there's plenty more of them that I love. I'm just drawing a blank right now. šŸ¤”
  14. There is always a place in my heart for feel good movies. I will add it to my to-watch list, thank you!
  15. Recently I watched Happiness for Beginners and It deserves 4/5 ratings. Good story, direction n casting. Feel good movie. For screenplay (photography) I rate 10/10.
  16. I could definitely see that being the case. It sucks when other factors can really mess up your vision. I get why Venom was forced to be added, but it did feel a bit rushed. From casting to the Venom storyline. If you saw "The Batman", what they did for The Joker would've been a great setup for Venom in Spiderman 4.
  17. I remember reading about Spiderman 3 being rushed, and Sam Reimi had to add stuff he didn't want to, he didn't want to add the Venom stuff, so they kinda forced it and he did what he could from what he understood about it from the comics. I get the disappointment, but yeah, it was Sam's take and it didn't go well. It's a shame, really.
  18. That's a great point and is probably something that's often overlooked when it comes to emo Peter. I still felt like Spiderman 3 tried to do too much though. I know the thing to do now is Part 1 and Part 2 for more epic movies. I feel like Spiderman 3 really could've benefited from that approach. I loved No Way Home. They couldn't have done a better job of handling the multiverse with Tobey and Andrew. That was perfect. Tagging @etz since this thread was made way before incorporating a follow system for created content.
  19. The OG trilogy is awesome, and as you say, Spiderman 3 didn't deserve all that hate. Yes, emo Peter was cringy, but that's the idea! He is supposed to be an awkward nerd with zero social skills, so when the black-suit-thing got to him, that was HIS version of a badass-cool-guy. It was great seeing Tobey again!
  20. Hey @dumblock and thanks for joining. The site just relaunched in an early access state and it's still in development. Hopefully with enough TLC, this can be one of the few forums to successfully come back from the dead.
  21. More than 3 months later I FINISHED! I don't think Season 1 could have been handled any better. I feel the show even did a few things better than the game. It may be due to having a different medium or knowing more about the direction of certain characters and events for Season 2, but bravo. What I felt the show did better than the game (Possible Spoilers): I can't wait for season 2
