Sony officially announced the PS5 Pro is releasing November 7 for $699. It's all-digital console with an optional disc drive that can be purchased for $79.99. Vertical stand is sold separately as well. Last generation's consoles were underpowered out of the gate, so a mid-gen refresh made sense. This is something I'm having a hard time justifying, though. The main talking point was that it essentially blends performance and graphics modes, removing the decision for players. The Performance RT (ray tracing) mode strikes that balance well for me already, but what are your thoughts? PS5 Pro Technical Presentation

I've beaten the game, and now I'm sad. Time to play it again. -
And we finally know what game it is. It's Gears of War: E-DAY and I'm here for it!

Xbox has had a few notable shows in the past, but I can't think of any that delivered on this level. This was a packed show. There was no padding, no gimmicks, and they just brought the games. And they ALL looked great. I haven't been this hyped after a games showcase since the prime E3 years - what a breath of fresh air I added the showcase as well as individual trailers to the Fan Clubs playlist. It's definitely worth checking out if you missed it, live.

Paper Mario: The Thousand-Year Door Remake

I really hope so. I cannot wait for this game. I can't wait to see what they do with it. If Mario RPG is any indication, it is going to be awesome. -

The best I could find is that it could be in the first quarter of 2024 since it's already been rated... Ratings like these typically only happen closer to a game's release date as opposed to further out, so we could very well be looking at a release window of sometime within the first three months of 2024. Anyone see a date yet? Super Mario RPG is scratching the itch, but I need some TTYD. -
I finally jumped back into the game this weekend and it was a ton of fun. Like riding a bike, I was able to pick up where I left off and played way better than I expected. I'll definitely be hopping into it more often when I have time for a few rounds here and there.

I've been hearing a lot of people saying the same on podcasts the last month or so. From the sound of it, it seems like it has the potential to be one of those few live service comeback stories. I haven't given it another go since the opening months, but I've been itching to give it another go after all the recent reports. Downloading, now

I recently re-downloaded the game and man, 2 years later it is finally feeling like HALO is back. Tons of playlists, lots of new forge maps, game feels more polished in general... now only thing missing is a lot of buzz/hype needed to bring people back to try the game again. ^ The forge has a ton of both faithful recreations and fresh takes on old maps. Would be worth to check out again! Have any of you given the game a shot again recently?

Same. I wanted to like the others, but it moved further away from what I loved about the originals. -

I really need to renew my Nintendo switch online. I thought super paper Mario was a lot of fun and the story was really charming but was disappointed they moved away from the rpg aspects -

@Disgruntled Dragon I genuinely was so surprised, never expected that when watching the direct, I sadly never got to play super Mario rpg but I’m excited to give that a shot too, a little disappointed that we haven’t gotten any word on a paper Mario 64 remake yet but I have hope -

I screamed so much that I hurt my throat. This is one of my favorite games and I was afraid it would be trapped on the Gamecube forever. Between that and the Super Mario RPG remake, I'm set for a while. -

It's been so long since I've played it, but the slate of games and backlog from this year alone is pretty insane. For those who might've missed it, here's the trailer. -
Anyone else excited?? 2024 and we get to go back to the TTYD, haven't played in YEARSSS and i'm so stoked to get back into it
