Evil Gringo 279
I wanted to be Spiderman when I was a kid and tried jumping and swinging on ropes till I hit a wall... then I gave up and just watched the cartoon... Loved the X-Men as well, thought the movies where better then the first Spiderman movie although I also loved that... I also loved the Fantastic 4, Incredible Hulk and the Justice League.... Guest Peter
Films wise I loved Spiderman and X-Men, and I also thought DareDevil was pretty good after watching a couple of times. However, Hulk was an absolutely awful film adaption, and I'm not surprised it didn't do very well, considering the merchandise was clearly aimed at kids, the actual film was far too complex for most of them to understand. On top of that, I found it really boring. Definately a dissapointment, after the fantastic adaptions I mentioned above.
Evil Gringo 279
As a film I hated the Hulk and thought that if you wanted to see a version of the Hulk on any screen you should watch the classic cartoon.... Has any one seen the 1960's cartoon of Spiderman and not the recent versions they show on Fox Kids? Really cheesey and badly animated but still better then the Hulk movie... Guest psychomonk
Spiderman was great but the 2nd is better, far better. Also worth watching - the Punisher lot less in the budget stakes but great film and cameo by Kevin Nash.
Guest charlie
fav comic book character? gosh, that's a difficult one. I quite liked Alias, one of the adult Marvel series, can't remember the name of the main character though. I liked Danger Girl too. I'm enjoying the version of Teen Titans showing on Toonami at the moment, it's strange, surreal, japanese, and very addictive.
