I have heard about it and don't have a clue what you do in it although i think it was made by Rockstar and is an 18. Is it any good?

It is done by Rockstar, and is a great deal of fun.

 

After awhile the storyline becomes very repetitive though. So much so that it almost becomes a chore to play.

I actually worked for the company that made this game; they advertised for game-testers at my high school for summer jobs. Their offices are about 3 miles from where I live.

 

I've heard about the game in my local paper, they say it's about riots or something, I dunno. Anyone describe what it's about?

You hit it pretty close Thundara. Your mission is to topple "Global Corp.", as part of a underground group of freedom fighters. {More like thugs though.}

 

When a city wide riot breaks out, your group takes advantage of the chaos to inflict damage to "Global Corp.", and murder several of the company heads.

 

During most game play there is from 20 to 50+ characters on screen, running around fighting and stealing television's.

Sounds like the kind of game that would lack longetivity, like the first 2 Grand Theft Auto's.
