Looking at the many good responses to the Favourite Triple H match thread, I've decided to start another one, this time concerning the Rock.

It's hard to believe sometimes that The Rock has only been a wrestler for about 8 years. The amount of quality matches packed into such a small space of time is exceptional. Here's just fourteen of those. Again, feel free to vote for another if you feel like it.

While I'm sure his match with Hulk Hogan will probably win this poll, I've gone for one of his electrifying matches with Steve Austin, the first one for the World Title at Wrestlemania 15.

Along with being an awesome event, it was also a fantastic fast paced wrestling match. This will always be one of my absolute favourite matches. The build-up was exceptional, and both men really brought the best out of each other in the match, and the crowd was in a frenzy by the end. Wrestling psychology at its best mixed with top drawer athleticism.

I have to agree.

Stone Cold vs The Rock in 1999 was the feud/match of the Attitude years as far as I'm concerned. It was the Hogan/Andre, Flair/Race of this generation - the two biggest stars, the two biggest names, in one of the most memorable feuds. This was booking at it's very best. It was almost like a World Heavyweight boxing match - no outlandish stipulations or soap-opera stuff. Yes the two men disliked each other, yes Vince was involved, but it was all about one thing - the gold.

The match itself delivered in every way possible on the hype - it was fast-paced, frenetic, worked to perfection, both guys kicked out of each other's finishers, near-fall after near-fall . . . . . wonderful tension and drama. Just a brilliant match, and a brilliant event, every bit as big as Rock/Hogan in my opinion, if not bigger - here were two guys, arguably the biggest names of their generation, at their peak. Unforgettable.

Their rematch at WM17 wasn't as good in my eyes simply because it wasn't the first-time anymore, plus the build-up wasn't as good (Debra played a part, nuff said). Still awesome though. As for the rest, well I'll always have very fond memories of Rock/Jericho, a modern-day classic. And both the title matches with Kurt Angle were awesome too.

I voted for Rock vs. Hollywood, Wrestlemania 18, simply for the fact that it was just so off the scale huge in terms of entertainment and drawing power. Obviously not a lot of technical wrestling, but with two of the most charismatic wrestlers in the history of the WWE in the ring at the same time, you dont really need a lot of techinical wrestling.

It was a close call for me but I had to go for No Mercy and Jericho v Rock for the WCW title... Those two always had the best match on the card during their fued that went from then till their final encounter at the Royal Rumble....

Also I loved the Wrestlemania X7 match against Austin, the Iron Man against HHH, Last Man Standing against Mankind, the King Of The Ring final against Ken Shamrock, the triple threat from Vengence 2002 and just as an entertainment spectacle and history when he faced off against Hogan.

But Rock against Jericho was the best match.

My favorite match concerning The Rock is the Rock vs. Austin match at WrestleMania 15. It was a great match I have to say. I also liked Rock vs. HHH at SummerSlam 1998. Those two were his best matches in my opinion.

Austin V Rock at 'Mania X-7 will always be one of my top favs, but if I had 2 votes my other one would go to the triple threat,

Vs Kurt Angle vs Undertaker (Vengeance 2002)

That's my favourite triple threat ever, I loved every minute of it.
