Guest Jack
On the SmackDown! show (10/7/04) Carlito Carribean Cool beat John Cena for the title. WWE must really want to push this new guy to give him a good title pretty much straight away.
Guest Gooneronastick
Either that or Cena's finally gonna get a world title push and Carlito is gonna drop the title soon.
Guest nixanator
plz dont put cena anywhere near a ring for the world title he sucks undertaker and jbl need a good angle like hell in a cell match or something the people who shoud be in the world title picture are: JBL UNDERTAKER KURT ANGLE EDDIE GUEERO ( CANT SPELL LAST NAME ) BIG SHOW AND MAYBE RVD ( HE IS CHAMPIONSHIP MATERIAL ) :thumbsup
Chris2K 176
Cena's off to make a movie, hence his title loss. Pretty stupid for him to win the Best of 5 in that sense.
Guest E2K
Big push for Carlito then. I hope he can deliver in the ring, even if it is just in the short term. I heard he's spent some time in OVW - does anybody know if he's any good as a wrestler?
Guest Jayden
I've seen him in OVW a bit. I've always been of the opinion that he seems a decent talker with a decent look, but isn't as good in the ring. I'm not saying he's bad in the ring, but it's definnitely not his standout strength. I expect he'll do ok though, looks like he's getting a big push and when WWE wants to get someone over they usually manage it, even if they have to ram them down our throats in the process. The Vanilla Ice Story??????? :P :lol And yes, it makes no sense for him to win the best of 5 if he's buggering off shortly afterwards :roll
Guest The Beltster
Pretty stupid for him to win the Best of 5 in that sense. No I disagree. They needed to take the title off Booker T to set him on the road to the WWE title. I believe the time is ripe, finally, after his disasterous WWE title build up/blow off with HHH at WMXIX, for Booker to step up and turn face, and go for the WWE title. I bet this is why Booker dropped the US title, and in that respect, it wasnt stupid at all, it was a good idea. Agreed, it could be seen that it makes Booker look weak after not beating Cena in the Best of 5 and then Carlito winning the title from Cena straight away, but I dont think fans think about that much anymore, cos everything moves so fast. Booker T will be pushed into the WWE title picture now, I'm sure.
Guest Jayden
plus i think losing to carlito would have made booker look much weaker, than him losing to cena in the best of five

Guest BWS Soldier
i don't think cena is ready for a title shot yes hes good on the mic he is a good entertainer but let's face it he is not that good in the ring see if you watch his matches 50% he get's beat down and the other 50% he does the same moves over and over "oh Cena has the upper hand now oh look a clothesline now a body slam now the five knuckle shuffle then another clothesline F-U then pin quite boring really" and Carlito i think he could be a good mid carder if pushed the right way
