Maxximus 353
Does anyone know the whereabouts of one Rick Stiner? What happend to the Dog Faced Gremlin? I loved the Rick Stiner from the oooolllld WcW days....Maybe Rick and Scotty could team up again. Both wrestlers were better tag wrestlers than single wrestlers anyway. Bring back some real tag-teams to the WWE!
Guest Jayden
bringing him back and reforming the steiner's would be a horrible idea. Scott's crap these days, and Rick's been crap for even longer. We do need to have some real teams in the WWE, but bringing back old guys and reforming once great tag teams is pointless. Create new ones. The Steiners are one of the greatest tag teams of all time, and any attempt to reform them now would take away from the great legacy they left as a team. Guest MARTIN316V1
I dont know why but when i seen the thread title, i automatically thought this was a thread about Gene Snitsky :lol
Maxximus 353
You have a good point Jayden and I respect that. I understand that re-forming old tag teams is kinda pointles and yeah, your right The Steiners have become crap over the years, but still I wonder what has happend to some of the top guys that you just don't here about anymore. Guest Trimmy
Wasnt Rick on TNA on TWC about a month back?
Guest Jayden
Yeah but that means that in reality he wrestled that TNA show about four/five months ago, something like taht anyway. Other than that I know he's worked some shows for Harley Race's promotion, forget what they're called though. Is it WLW? And, also he's worked some stuff for the IWC in Pureto Rico too. He's done some shows in Japan from what I've read as well. Basically, he's made a stack load of cash, he doesn't really need to chase his career anymore, so unless somebody, ie WWE, come in and offer him loads of money (which they won't) then you won't see him wrestling regularly for a big promotion. Guest SideEffect
actually i think wwe has had some good teams in the past year but they split them up as in gindrak and cade, charlie haas and shelton benjamin, and of course kidman and london
Guest Jayden
yeah very true but their insistance on splitting them before their time ruins the division. when the steiner's first split in WCW is was huge, because they'd been together so long. When Kidman and London split it was weak, they'd barely begun their road along being a great team, which I really do think they could have been. Look at Shawn and Marty, it wasn't just the kicking through the glass that was shocking, they had been together for ages. When they have good teams like they have had in TWGTT, Kidman and London and Cade and Jindrak why destroy them in a meaningless angle when you could get a much better pay off down the line by having them keep the tag team division fresh, eventually splitting up when people care about it, and then having a top notch feud at the end of it. Guest Bluestiger99
Didn't Jindrak and Cade used to be a WCW tag team. I seem to remember them or someone with names that sound close to that being a team. I could be wrong though.
Guest Jayden
no they weren't. Jindrak teamed with O'Haire at first in WCW. Then they split it around and had him team with Stasiak, while O'Haire joined Palumbo. Lance Cade, later Garrison Cade, had been in the WWE developmental ranks around the same time as Jindrak was in the power plant.
Evil Gringo 279
Steiner is in NOAH running in trios matches with the likes of Bison Smith, Doug Williams, Scorpio, Ricky Marvin etc... Before that he spent some time based in the NOAH endorsed and Harley Race run WLW as pointed out before and also spent some time in NJPW's mid card.
