Biggest Raw **SPOILER** of all time

Well we all knew it was coming after Wrestlemania, but not this soon.

On Raw this week Linda McMahon announced the split of the WWF brand. With Ric Flair in charge of Raw, and Vince McMahon in charge of Smackdown.

Each roster as we thought will contain wrestlers that will not cross over, but however the world champion, and women's champion will be used in both brands.

Which leaves the question of what are they going to do with the remaining titles? Will there be two I.C Champions or will they simply have a champion of each brand?

The same goes for Tag team title's, European title, Hardcore title, and Lightweight/Crusierweight title's {Although they already have two champion's}

The draft will take place next week on Raw to set the rosters for both brands. With Vince getting the firsat pick, as he won a coin toss with Flair, after the announcement.

So my final question is who will pick who?

Forgive me if I'm misinformed, having not seen the actual show, but what I make of the RAW/SD! split is that champions will be on both shows, but anyone who is not a champion will only be allowed on "their" show, which is allocated to them next week.

Coincidentally, this brings up the point, that what will happen on HeAt and Metal/Jakked?

I think it's safe to say McMahon will pick most of the heels, Flair will go for most of the faces, although I don't know how that will work for future feuds.

I had heard all the roster split rumours but I wasn't actually expecting this. I agree with Russ, Flair will pick most of the faces and Vince will pick most of the heels.

Yeah I wanna know the mechanics of this split.

First of the titles, if Flair picks HHH, how are Vinces wrestlers ever gonna be the undisputed champion?

Second, Metal and Heat, whats happening bout them.

Thirdly, tag teams, you know this gonna happen, tag teams being split and arguments will arise if Flair/Vince want them both.

You know that Vince and Flair will come to blows over who gets who. Then it will all culminate at a PPV where they will rejoin somehow.

I think it is clear that the Undisputed Champion and the Womens Champion will be the only wrestlers who appear on both Raw and SmackDown and are fair game for the wrestlers in both rosters.

I would like to ascertain how this will affect the PPV schedule. I still think that the rosters will not interact on the PPVs, ideally there would be one PPV per month, featuring the culmination of fueds from each roster. This would mean that fueds would have more time to develop, as there will still only be room for 7-8 matches on PPV, but at least twice as many disputes taking place on the TV shows as there are now.

Other options could be: alternate the PPVs between Vince's roster and Flair's roster on a monthly basis, or hold two PPVs per month (and they would not do that, would they?:eek)

To anwser a few questions.

Vince could not just pick mainly heels, nor Flair Faces.... How would the show's work???? I'm betting we will see two fairly rounded rosters.

There will be two PPV's a month now, or at least that was the plan a few weeks ago. I see no reason for the WWFE to change that now, as it means more money for the company.

I'm sure we will see some tag team's split up, just for the sake of creating story lines down the road.

My question is this: Will there be sperate champions now? We know that the World Champion, and Women's Champion will be used on both show's. But what about the other champion's?

Perhaps it will work out that the IC and Euro champion will wind up on Raw and Smackdown respectvely, or vice versa.

The roster split will certainly be interesting if nothing else, I peronally hope they have 1 PPV per month, whether thats a PPV ith both brands or they alternate it monthly I won't mind but personally I think 2 PPV's per month will be just too much.

But that means the Americans have to pay double for this extra PPV (coupled with the other one).

So how will this affect us brits? Will Sky show these extra PPV's?? Will they show them for free? Or will we have to pay on Sky box office?

I know I'll probably choose the one that HHH doesnt go with :D

But, 2 PPVs per month? I dunno if i like the sound of that...you can get too much of anything methinks.

I've already said somewhere that we shouldnt...because we already pay enough for our digital/satelite tv compared to Americans. The day when digital prices become fair over here is the day I'll even consider buying PPVs.

Well whatever the case, i'm paying about £12 for the digital service, which includes a lot of crappy primary channels like Nikelodeon, BBC News 24 etc, and £11 for Sky Sports 1 (with Sky Sports 3 free).

I dont think any American pays £11 just for the channel that Raw/SD is on eh ;)

No we do not pay £11 for just the channel that airs Raw, but look at the difference in price's here.

You pay £12 for the digital service. We pay $79.99 {Or £56}

Then add on top the PPV cost of $29.99 {Or £21}

For a grand total of $110.00 {Or £77} a month.

If you only pay £12 for the digital service plus £11 for Sky Sport's, and then add in £14 for the PPV, it still only comes to £37 {Or $52} a month.

So even if you did pay for the PPV's you would still be paying £40 less then we do each month.....:(

We should probably discuss this elsewhere, all the details etc, but how many channels are you actually getting with that deal?

With my deal im getting about 50....I'll grant you if yours is around about that that youre getting a far worse deal than I'd ever imagined....

That pay's for 78 channel's.

Although about 5 or 6 are repeat's, some channels show both the east coast and west coast feed. Which mean's you can watch one show, and then see it again four hours later...
