HHH was on XM Satellite Radio’s the Opie and Anthony show, and said this about Lesnar

He joked about how Brock Lesnar made a huge mistake and even said that Brock has contacted the WWE to return but they are not interested at this time. HHH explained that Brock wasn’t that big of a name yet to come and go as he pleased. He does expect him back in the WWE at some point though. O&A joked that if Brock ever played for The Minnesota Vikings he would only play home games because he didn’t like to travel (one of the reasons Brock reportedly wanted out of WWE).
(got this off a forum, so I dont know where it was originally)

I dont quite understand why WWE dont want him back. Maybe he wanted too much money or maybe Vince's ego got in the way, but I do hope he will be back one day

Thoughts?

I'm not surprised that the WWE treated Brock that way considering how he left.

The WWE knows deep down that the need Brock back. But at this point its too much bad blood between them. Plus with HHH behind the scenes the last thing he wants is to have to deal with another threat to his throne. Maybe in six months to a year things could be different.

This is Bullsh*t plain and simple. HHH is full of crap. There is NO WAY IN HELL that Vince McMahon would turn down Brock Lesnar if he wanted to come back. HHH is either bullshi**ing or kayfabing. Either way its false IMO.

Gotta agree with Beltmark.... If Vince thinks theres money in it and an angle then he'll do it...

He did with Hogan, Nash, Hall, X-Pac, Austin, Warrior, Bulldog, Foley....

All these people walked out and either critisied the product and McMahon or went and helped the compition....

Hogan even testified against McMahon in a federal court of law!

So if Lesnar said I want to come back Vince would have him, like a shot because theres a few angles around it (Eddie payback, Souled out, fans calling him a loser, Orton v Brock to decide who the true worthy recipent of the youngest champ title is etc)

Plus where else is he going to go?

TNA? Japan?

Both not big enough and financally stable to support him plus Japan would kill him, cause he hates to travel.

I dunno. WWE, by all accounts, are starting to try and ridicule Lesnar a fair bit now. From what I gather, the F5 from Big Show at Armageddon wasn't preparation for a return, but a straight jab in the face for Lesnar. Of course I don't doubt that he'll be back, but I think there's a fair bit of truth to it.

I'm not saying Vince won't make him wait and grovel for it... but he will be back, I reckon sometime just after Mania XXI...

But I could be wrong.

If Brock said "I wanna be at RAW this week, turn up, oblitorate 'x wrestler' and go for the World title at New Years Revolution!" Vince would ask him what time he would want the Limo to pick him up, I'm sure of that.

Vince is a mark for Lesnar, his size, strength, look, skill etc, he has said that himself, even after Brock left he said he hopes to see him back one day, and believes he will be. Vince isnt stupid (although his current booking would say otherwise). He knows Brock is a pretty big star and one with several ready-made angles waiting for him upon his return. He would have him back in the blink of an eye.

As for WWE ridculing him by having Show do a couple F5's, maybe thats the case, but I'm sure Vince would much prefer to ridicule him by having him job on WWE TV, so if he was dead set of ripping into him, he would have him back for that reason alone.

But no, I'm 99.999% sure that HHH is full of crap, just as he is in every other interview he does where he kayfabes everything and bashes everybody who is a bigger star than he is or ever could be (Hogan, Rock, Austin etc).

I agree with Beltmark, I swear its not just because I'm a Lesnar mark!

Honestly ;)

Seriously, this news sounds like bullshit to me, I was looking today at WWE.com's title history section (WWE.com is always the place to look at how the propoganda is going.. ie. Puder) and it all seemed reasonably upbeat about Lesnar... I mean if they seriously wanted to bury him they wouldn't be bigging him up like they do on the site.

I believe instead that Lesnar may return for Wrestlemania, and that this F5 shinanigans is either Big Show getting a new move which is nowhere near as shite as the final cut or Lesnar making a return.

What it actually is remains to be seen but for now I'd say HHH smells and Lesnar rules, and you all know this :D [/mark]

From ProWrestling.com

The internal word is that Brock Lesnar wants to return to WWE, but WWE is not currently planning to bring the former champion back. According to some close to the situation, WWE silently feels Lesnar has no other options and wants to play hardball for "revenge."

HHH confirmed this report in an interview with XM Radio on Thursday. He claimed that even though Lesnar will likely return to WWE down the road, there is no interest in bringing him in right now, despite Lesnar's calls to the WWE office. Triple H also stated that Lesnar made a huge mistake in feeling as if he could come and go as he pleased.

With Royal Rumble and WrestleMania on the horizon, however, it is still possible that a Lesnar return could occur in the near future. After evaluating the situation, WWE may give the failed football hopeful another shot.

I have to ask since I really haven't followed it much so I don't know much about it, but what exactly happened with Lesnar's attempt to play football... why was it a failure?

Lesnar owns HHH... and I'm sure HHH is just scared of the inevitable day when Mr. Lesnar will be doing the Lesnar dance once again and HHH's shoulders will be down 1...2....3. [/mark again]

That is 1 match I would love to see.. Lesnar v HHH...

Im not sure but did they ever face each other in the ring.. I think there might have been a triple threat match in australia a few years back.. lesnar v hhh v the rock - global warning tour..

But I would love to see Lesnar kick hhhs ass even though Im a huge mark for both wrestlers..

then lesnar v dave batista somewhere down the line

Hopefully Brock does return sooner rather than later. WWE and Smackdown in particular need him .

what? why would they turn him down? thats stupid he was a headliner that stupid he should come back
He's walked out once, what's to say he won't do it again? I personally wouldn't bring him back because he obviously has no passion for the business, and sees it more as a way of making money now his american football career didn't take off.
I'm not saying Vince won't make him wait and grovel for it...

The same way he gave sucky gimmicks to Dusty & Dustin Rhodes, Adrian Street, Adrain Adonis, Lanny Poffo ana a slew of others who had crossed him or who he wanted to humble.

I'd venture to guess 70% of wrestlers see it simply as a way to make money. You dont have to be a mark to be a wrestler, after all, lets be real here, it is just their job.

He had good matches, was really improving big time and was a topline legit star, to say you wouldnt bring him back just because he isnt a wrestling mark is silly, IMO.

Truthfully I couldn't give a rats ass about Brock " There Goes The Pain " Lesnar. He was booked as the next big thing and ended up as what? The next big guy to walk out on WWE thinking he can get more money elswhere that's who!

Anyway, rant over, I hate Lesnar :devil

Vince knows he needs Brock but his ego is probably turning him down.
Lesnar is a good athletic heavyweight. If WWE want big guys, then they should bring back Lesnar. I don't think we can trust all of these news / rumor sites. Either it's a dodgy source or BeltMark is spot on about Hunter. Where do these websites get this news from?

Haha !

The way I see it, Lesnar isn't as much of a "name" as the other guys they've brought in - Lesnar was only at the top for a very short time, so he's not a major player

They hot-shotted him to the top, and he was cocky in the position - when told not to do the belly to belly overhead release suplex, because of the danger, they told him they'd fine him if he did it... he asked "how much?" because he's that much of a dick!

If I was Vince, I'd wait and bring him back at the Rumble as a "surprise entrant", not mention it before then

They need the talent, and whether he goes to RAW or back to SD, he can only improve the shows if he's not as arrogant as he was

Japan would kill him' date=' cause he hates to travel.[/quote']

He hates being on the road constantly, but if he worked in Japan he wouldn't be. He is a big name who fans still remember, if he worked in Japan he could make quite a bit of money for a couple of shows, not to mention the pay off that Lesner V Sapp (stay calm Simon!) could potientially bring in.

I'd think Lesner still has quite a bit of money, Japan would allow him to make more without the constant travel that he would have in the WWE. Although really Lesner has many options open to him, he could open wrestling schools, gyms do fitness tapes etc, he has knowledge of all this so would be good and not to mention a fairly big draw.

There is still a chance aswell that he could make it in football, he just really needs games and pactice. Going to NFL Europe will help him, not to mention training with big teams. He is quite a bit behind other players as they have been playing for years but if he puts time and effort in and has the money to support himself then it isn't impossible.
