Chav tastic

As some people may or may not know, I am playing a scumbag Chav in the TWO e-fed.

Now I know some people are not interested in it, so this post isn't for you, but perhaps you could all help me here, by giving me reasons why you hate Chavs so much, what they say to irritate you and how they dress that really disgusts you.

I guess this is market research to flesh out my character, so even if you aren't interested in the E-Fed you can at least comment on our Burberry Boys!

Thanks, it'll be a great help to me.

Saz

I just think they're like totally icky and have no style whatsoever. I mean, tracksuits? Burberry? Caps? Big bits of Gold? Ewww, perlease, no way honey. And as I've just been reminded (I'm blonde, so forgive me) the sort of chav posse's I see round our area are always getting into fights. Random acts of violence on people that don't deserve are just so not cool. Edited by Jayden

I saw a burberry car one. You have SO gotta use that. Just emphasise burberry and the fact that you love So Solid Crew and Blazin' Squad. And be very "lower class", from the high rise flats of a rough estate. Make out like you're scrounging off everyone, and loving it. That's as stereotypical as you could get. Then you're onto a winner :)

Say what you want about chavs, but moshers/goths etc are social rejects/losers/geeks/wannabes/not accpeted etc etc
This thread wasn't here to bash you honey, nor was it here to start a debate about chavs vs goths. The stereotypical chav that Saracen is going to potray, isn't what you are? Is it? I'd have thought you were just being yourself hun, as opposed to fitting to some stereotype?

I'm a goth, and I'm accepted into mostly every circle, popular and none :thumbsup. If I'm rejected, it's usually because my personality sucks :)

Plus, his character isn't about goths, but chavs. Although, gives me an idea. As a "chav", what do you love and hate about the world? I'm sure Saracen would benefit from a chavs POV.

I'm generally rejected by everyone because I'm so angry. I DON'T BELIEEEEEVE IT!

Edit: Stereotyping of any kind sucks, to be fair. Perpetuating the sterotype isn't very original or clever either. If I classed myself as a chav, I'd be offended by this kind of posting. Isn't it in a similar vein to making a post asking why you hate Scots? Or Welsh? Or Blacks? Or gays?

But we don't go round beating people up for no good reason, see the difference there?

Anyway, it would be the starting fights with people who want to live peaceful lives, the spitting and the mocking and bullying of most people who aren't them.

Could be an interesting gimmick for an e-fed, as long as people realise that's all it is, and not a knock on chavs as people.
An amusing characature and an offensive stereotype aint the same thing honey, people need to recognise

Depends on the situation and the handling. I think if Saracen were to show a more sensitive and different side to chavs (hence why I think Jack should give Saracen a key to his head to show what ticks there), and can build on getting heel heat from it (look at CM Punk - he doesn't drink, smoke or do drugs, and gets booed for it), then it could be cool. If handled in the way that everyone just flat out hates him, heels included, it could be treading on lines. Luckily, because it's an e-fed (and let's face it, wrestling lets us get away witha lot of things), there's more scope to push the envelope and have fun.
