does tna only last 1 hour in america?

Yes.

did wcw film in the same place tna does in the early 90s?

Yes.

i heard ddp gets $7000 a week in tna?

Between $5000 and $7000 a week, more than he earned in the WWE.

why dosnt tna try and get bigger crowds?

Their arena doesn't hold anymore, and they need that Universal Studios exposure. What they should be doing, rather than getting bigger crowds, is keeping their current crowd and charging them money to get in.

why oh why have they signed all these has beans ddp, nash, hall , candido and piper

Because what doesn't draw in the WWE can draw elsewhere. If DDP went to the WWE, he wouldn't draw. If DDP came to the UK, he'd probably get any company their biggest ever crowd with the right advertising and use. The exception is Candido, who is merely a strong worker and a friend of Rhodes.

Goldberg is too much money. Spanky is on their want list but he's more into RoH and Japan. Lash Leroux has wrestled for them a few times since day one of the company, but he's not actually that good. And Psychosis has wrestled a few times too, but he frequents Mexico, and is currently receiving tryouts for the WWE alongside Super Crazy.

I must admit I was against the signing of Hall, Nash and DDP. Hall and Nash dont even look bothered that they are there and put no effort in. Hall's ring attire is ridicolous and its tarnishing my memory of how great he used to be as Razor and in the NWO.

Candido cant be placed in the same line as them. He's a great worker and alwsy outs on a good match

1) Does TNA only last 1 hour in America?

TNA iMPACT broadcasts at 4pm Every Friday on FSN. There is a late night repeat at 12 midnight on Saturday. Check Local Listings. Also Saturday Night on local TV, TNA airs Xplosion which is a look back at the week in TNA hosted by the Franchise Shane Douglas and JB Jeremy Borash. Again check local listings

2) Did WCW film in the same place TNA does in the early 90s?

Its actually the sound stage next door. WCW was in SoundStage 20, TNA is in Sound stage 21. Although TNA at first aired from Huntsville Alabama, before moving to The Asylum at the Fairgrounds in Nashville, Tennessee where they remained until September of 2004 when they made the permanant move to Universal Studios, Florida although the offices remain in Nashville

3) I heard DDP gets $7000 a week in TNA?

I believe TNA has a wage cap of $5000 per week and they only work 1 week out of two. Wrestlers on the top tier of pay would be Nash, Hall, Jarrett and DDP, and AJ Styles

4) Why doesnt TNA try and get bigger crowds?

Its cheaper to stay in Orlando and avoids risk of not selling tickets elsewhere. TNA also have a Street Team to spread the word to try and fill up the iMPACT Zone every week anyway, and a fair few times they do have to actually turn people away, particullarily at PPVS, due to the fact theres not enough room to pack them in.

5) Why oh why have they signed all these has beens DDP, Nash, Hall , Candido and Piper

Name value, Oppurtunities, Media Attention. DDP, Nash, Hall, Candido and Piper are all, perhaps Bar Candido all still much bigger names than guys like Aj Styles, Monty Brown, AMW and Abyss. So it makes sense to get people to watch if they have big name stars on their shows to draw in people and once they are watching then they can try and keep them watching with the X Division and the rest of their product

have Disney changed their policy to allow more extreme match styles as i remember reading that WCW were actually asked tochange the name of a texas death match because of Disney not being happy about it

Its Universal, not Disney. Disney is completely different. Universal has such stuff as Jaws, Spiderman and Back to the Future, whereas Disney is more kiddie orienteered. And i have no idea about the policies of Universal, especially as I cant say Ive been there for ten years. Amazing how fast time goes. But I pressume theyre mainly allowing TNA to go as far as they need to and make the Studio their own

Universal are ok with the "extreme" matches because it's a late night Sunday when you see them, which comes under Universal's nighttime entertainment (which can be raunchy at the best of times). Universal also holds rock concerts at Hard Rock Live (I saw Deftones there, easily the second most influencial nu-metal band ever, and a superb live act), and that had plenty of swearing and in between.

Disney would probably be unhappy, but thats Disney. Their workers hall has the words "Smile or you're fired" written over the doors.

I've been to a TNA taping at Universal Studios, and it's pretty packed. It's good though, I won a free T-shirt for being one of the loudest fans. :P
