Guest MartynJ
Right, nobody knows if this match is going to happen but if it does, there 3 ways it could go from my opinon (only) 1 .Both stay faces and Orton wins with undertaker passing on the torch with respect 2. Orton turning heel and going after him, winning at mania and bragging about killing the true legend (specialy if it is undertaters last match) 3. taker v orton (face or heel either way) and taker winning to keep his underfeated streak at mania and retire with respect of the fans (well me anyway) there are loads of different ways it could go, but ME personly is a Undertaker fan and i will be very dissopointed if orton does face him and win, i cant think of ANBODY RETIRING yet?? without either loseing or been screwed in some sort of way, if taker is retireing, the least VINCE could do is let him keep his underfeatable streak at mania , after the LOYALITY he's given him over the past decade. But nobody knows for defintly that it is his last match or he is retiring(how many times did terry funk retire? how many comebacks has the hulksta done) i know a lot of you are orton fans on this Forum but if Orton beats taker at Mania he wont be a legend killer in my eyes it'll just been somebody taker jobbed to (if he is retireing?) Anyway what do you people think?
Guest Bluestiger99
If Taker loses I'm going to be really REALLY pissed. He should have his Mania record stand at 13-0. He can then retire with so much respect and with his dignity. I will officially declare WWE dead to me if he loses.

Guest Buff
all i can say is that taker better not lose to orton.doesn't matter who the person is he should keep his undefeated title.
Guest Shady
He will job to Orton, as much as I don't like it, Orton needs this win cause he's character is dead, he needs the momentum.
Guest Fully
I dont think this match will happen and even if it does I cant see Taker agreeing to end his Mania streak
Guest The Doctor
Well they could always get Randy DQ'd somehow, that way technically Taker beats him and he's 13-0, but Randy can also say Taker never beat him either.

Guest Jack
I dont think he will retire. He hasnt said he will I dont think. He is still over. He can still wrestle. He just needs a decent fued, with a proper main eventer.
Guest MartynJ
HAD to re edit because there was only 4 replys but when id finished they was about 10 Damm (fav word on this forum) but so far everybody (well 4 people anyway lol) as agreed that taker shouldent job to R.O Shady makes a good point that it will help R.O with his momentum (but sod his momentum) I was expecting all these orton lovers to be giving me crap about this thread but i think they know that taker should win, but we'll just wait till mania and see, but if orton wins ill be gutted, this realy as overshadowed the rest of mania for me, apart from hogan/piper/austin returns BUT thats because im a bit of a old school fan LOL Edited March 2, 2005 by MartynJ
Guest The Doctor
Since when is the Undertaker retiring? Im think people are just assuming it'll be soonish as he has dodgy hips, isn't full time and has always said when he returns to the Deadman gimmick it'll be his last run in the WWE. Guest Fully
As much as I love Taker and as much as I have praised him endlessley, it is about time he left with a bang. While he is still on top. I do fear he is overstaying his welcome and the Heidenrich fued is prooving this. Its awful. Taker needs guys who can carry the brunt of the match. Even though JBL v Taker had some pretty good encounters, there is no on left Im really aching to see taker fued with. Id maybe like one more HBK v Taker match before he left..for old times sake...and one final KAne v Taker showdown.

wyndorf 389
Somehow the Orton/Undertaker match is going to be used to turn Orton heel again. If there's gonna be a clear winner (ie pinfall/submission) I can't see the logic in the Undertaker going over. I'm only guessing, but Orton will have to go to Smackdown! just before or just after this match. Whatever the outcome of there Mania encounter, this feud would have to continue for the match to actually mean anything.
