I was talking with Allie today and the upcoming Backlash match between Shawn Michales and Hogan Vs. Hassan and Daivari came up. this got me wondering, is Hogan worth the ring time anymore?
Surely they could have done better by giving a young up and comer who is actually able to work a match a shot as since his recent surgery Hogan is now incapable of doing a simple legdrop, which wouldn't be a problem if it wasn't his finisher.
I am not saying Hogan doesn't deserve respect for what he DID in the past, but now he's just clinging on and trying to work many years past his prime which is frankly getting embarrassing, i think he'd be better off going down the Ric Flair route and becoming a manager as he does still have the Charisma and name recognition to work the mic and get someone over who is lacking the mic skills but is good at the actual in ring part, like Lesnar was with Paul Heyman. I feel that this is part of an ongoing problem of mis using talent , but rather than not giving a push to a great worker, they are giving a push to someone who can not work a match purely for the nostalgia pops which i for one am sick and tired of.
