im kinda worried, not about the film but because the cinema where i live may be full and i wont get to see it :eek but hopefully i'll see it and it'll be the best movie i've seen yet.

Will it?¿?

you have to watch it just to see yoda fight!- he freakin rules

put it this way- imagine a monkey with a lightsaber

Yoda is the coolest "monkey" around.. mwah ha ha!

Also watch out for the PURPLE light sabre

Yoda frekin rules

mcgregor far better than he was in episode 1

Hayden Christensen makes a very good anakin this guy will be vader.

Samuel l jackson finally gets off his backside and gets something done.

Portman strong as ever, this gal should stick with acting.

Was maybe a little dissapointed by jango fett, only because of all the hype certainly no darth maul.

fantastic humour coming from c3po especially ner the end.

just go see this film it blows the phantom menace out of the water in evry respect.

of all our points, this is the one i most agree with, maybe if he didn't speak alot or there were more (or longer) fight scenes between Jango and Obi, he would have been a bit better

also i feel that boba fett should not have spoken, it sorta ruins the aura of the boba fett we know today

Star wars is a pile of crap and i dont see the appeal
I saw it on the weekend. Sorry to say, but it is terrible (apart from the battles and special effects).
In that case, it rules :D
I saw it on Sunday (for £3!). Some of the effects were a bit poor and some dialogue needed work, but overall it was fairly enjoyable.
when you go watch star wars you don't expect a oscar winning picture, but you just let yourself go and enjoy it.
I seriously wanted to enjoy it, but it was just so badly written.

watched it again over the weekend noticed that from time to time anakin casts vaders shadow.

This whole Anakin/Vader thing got me thinking -

Surely one of the big surprises of Return Of The Jedi is when Vader unmasks and we find out that he's Luke & Leia's dad, right?

But if we see Anakin becoming Vader, that'll ruin the surprise, yeah?

I only hope George Lucas knows what he's doing with Episode 3.

Good point, however we all know there prequels and from reports i've heard he's had so much fun he plans to do yet another set of prequels after episode 3. This contrdicts stories that i heard of making a episode 7 8 and 9.

Lets hope Episode 3 is as good, if not better, then episode 2 !!

I heard his original plan was for 9 films, but then later changed his mind and will only have 6 in total.

But what the hell would episodes 7, 8 and 9 be about eh?

So George Lucas is planning more prequels? How? By my reckoning, there's only 30 years tops between the end of Episode 2 and the start of Episode 4.

Doesn't leave him a lot of time to set the films in.

Went to see it yesterday and I hate to say it but it was a terrible film centered on a cheesey love story with some super cool effects and fighting tacked on.

Yoda, hmm, much ass kick he does.

Samuel L. Jackson and Christopher Lee, both fine actors but they seemed to be on autopilot throughout.

Ewan McGregor, considerabe improvement over the Phantom Menace, still nowhere near as good as Alec Guinness in the original trilogy but he did a pretty good job of carrying the film.

Jango Fett, the Chris Jericho of Star Wars, he was supposed to be the menacing bad guy but was outwitted in or lost all his fights to make other characters look better.

Christensen/Portman, Christensen appears to have taken acting lessons from Jeff Hardy with Edge as his voice coach, he has no grace or presence with a trembley speaking register and a distinct lack of personality and talent. Portman was Carrie Fisher Lite.
