According to a new TV advertisement that appeared on Comcast Cable in Mississippi, the scheduled main event for next month's WWE Armageddon PPV (SmackDown) is The Undertaker vs. Randy Orton in a Hell in a Cell.

 

Of course, plans are always subject to change, but an Undertaker/Randy Orton match does make sense for next month. As reported on earlier, The Undertaker vs. Randy Orton was originally scheduled to take place at the Survivor Series PPV this Sunday, but was postponed due to the passing of Eddie Guerrero and Orton being added to Team SmackDown.

if WWE dont put up advertisments then they dont get new fans because people wont know about it except by word of mouth?

Well I can see Taker appearing in the middle of the RAW vs Smack Down match and taking Randy our of the match or costing him the match.Therefore setting the Hell in a Cell.

Taker is already scheduled to reurn at Survior Series...

 

HIAC for me needs a break for a year or more.. they have no attraction at the moment.. too many HHH ones have happened previously...

i agree a hell in a cell match at least once a year.

 

Casket match been done twice.

 

last ride match done this year.

 

i'd prefer a newly created match thats dark and satanic like when the cell was introduced.

UT/Orton HIAC would be a good way to get Orton over again. He's lost almost all of his momentum since he had the title and he needs to re-gain some credibility. I think the match could be very decent too. Their matches have been ok so far but the addition of the cell would guarantee something that little bit better. If they could produce something near as good as UT/Lesnar HIAC, it would be a great match.

I have to agree with CoTT on this one.Randy needs to get some credibility back.

 

For example,prior to his hardcore match vs Foley at Backlash 04' people thought that Orton couldn't take the big sick spots and wasnt a credible main even player.Well after he took that sick bump on the thumbtacks everything changed.He was looked as a credible Main Eventer and people saw him as a threat to everyone.

 

That's what I think they need to do with Orton in this Hell in a Cell,make him beat the crap out of Taker and take a sick bump.
