Im hungover, had my christmas do last night, was home by ten thirty after heaving my guts up at my friends house, damn the free wine. :drinky :sick

So yeah today im feeling pretty rough, got any tips for a hangover cure? Ive had a bottle of coke which has helped, but any suggestions are welcome. As long as they dont include more alcohol.:oops

Eat a sandwich before you go out - preferrably a Subway - the bread seems to help with the alcohol absorbtion. Drink, and be merry! Drink water before you go to bed - under no circumstances drink a litre of whisky. NEVER.

The morning after, a packet of Salt & Vinegar McCoys, A pint of milk and a bottle of Lucozade usually does the trick for me.

I know it hurts and it is not something you want to do at the time but get up and go somewhere with your mates or something.

When I am on my own hugging the toilet I feel horrible but if my mates are there and they are joking on by saying "fancy a fry up" etc it then develops into a laugh.

Well i did puke quite a lot - 4 times lat night, then once this morning, and felt better for it.

Been living on coke and bread today, the mixture of sugar and stodge seems to be doing the job..

Water to flush out all the alcohol, a chocolate coissant to put the sugar back in your blood and dry up the acid thatse making that horrid taste in the back of your throat, and ready salted crisps to put the salt back and stop you feeling drained.

Follow all that by a hot bath and pampering, works for all my firends that get those horrible things, I dont thankfully just get majorly dehydrated which I solve by having more beer.

For now' date=' asprin. :P[/quote']

Actually, NOT Aspirin - Paracetamol is a lot better for situations like this.

Hungover??? I dont understand.....is that the bit when you arent sober? Just wondering for the future......

Don't you mean "aren't drunk"? :P

The ultimate hangover cure is to go to University and spend the last week and a bit before Christmas with so much work to do that you don't have time to leave your room, nevermind go out for a night and have to suffer a hangover the next morning.

Anyone got a spare £7000 so I can buy one of these dissertations that guarentees you a first?

pretty if I'm ot toatlly trashed the night before I won't have a hangover. But when I do I find eating a lot of something like pancakes or waffles helps, even though you never actually want to eat anything.

You should probably cut out the text speak da game, its against the rules of the forum. Unless youre just very bad at spelling, in which case i apologise.

As for the advice about not drinking, yeah thats not gonna happen!

if you must go out at weekend drink in moderation every body gets to a piont where they feel they have had enough but they just don't stop until they can't stand up . if they get a hangover to them i say its self inflicted and don't deserve any help live with it or learn to control yourself.

yh i dnt get hangovers that often but i jus eat when i have one

By the look of it, you don't get hangovers because you're drunk all of the time, or at the time of writing that.
