It's time for a Christmas-themed paint competition.

 

The Theme?

 

CHRISTMAS!!

 

Draw me a picture of Christmas.

 

Usual rules:

 

It's got to be your own work, no copy&pasting of photos or tracing.

 

It's got to be drawn in MSPaint or a similar cheapo paint package.

 

It can be no wider than 500 pixels-or-so. Just make sure it doesn't distort the forum and can all be seen on the screen without scrolling.

Go to http://www.imageshack.us.

 

Click on "Browse" and find your picture.

 

Click on "Host It".

 

Wait.

 

Copy and paste the URL for "Direct link to image" (it's called something like that, anyway) into your post with tags around it like this:

 

www.imageshack.us/yourpicture.com

 

And your picture will be displayed.

I put it up in the TWO gallery instead. I'll note down that site though. My picture is of Santa's belly. I've shown it peeping out through his suit in reference to news that we'll overeat this christmas. See, it's fun AND political. Top that guys.

There'll be a voting thread opened on... Christmas Eve I reckon. Then we'll ask an admin to reveal the results.

Yeah, more of a virtual prize than anything tangible. In the New Year I'll go back to the Monday Paint Compo - the winner can pick the first theme.

500's a guidline rather than a rule...

 

And now that I'm on a widescreen hi-definition laptop it'll take a LOT to distort the forum for me. :)
