Go on, is it the mark, the smark (or smart mark), or the anti smark (asmark/assmark)?

The asmark is basicly a smark who derides smarks and refuses to admit to being one. 'Im not a smark as I love Cena! God I hate smarks who diss him just becouse he doesnt do a 76457823 flip from the rope. Yeah, internet fans ruin it all'.

TNA fans. Bar the black guy with the towel, they suck. I don't know what you'd class them as to be honest, but I'll say ROH-lite.

Followed by ROH fans, who are by far the worst.

As far as on the internet, I don't think any of them suck. I'm a smark who doesn't follow stereotypical smark conventions, but I don't dislike smarks or marks. The people I don't like are ignorant ones, and they can come from any background.

I chose assmark because it sounds funny.
I chose none, reason being everyone is differant and entitled to their favourite Promotions and stars, FACT the Internet has ruined Wrestling and marks? smarks? only Internet folk understand what these terms mean and they are stupid terms if somewhat geeky I barely understand what they mean and a few weeks ago had to ask......even though I've been a fan since the mid 90's
I'm not sure which label you would give them, but I hate any fans who thinks thier opinion if fact, and are unable to accept that people have different opinions, which may be as right as theirs.
I voted no fans are annoying, because there all as annoying as eachother in there own little way.

The most annoying wrestling fan is one who cuts of Ric Flair in traffic. But Ric dealt with one of them in this video:Flair's Road Rage

I voted asmark because they should admit it instead of denying it.

I voted No Fans, because TNA Fans isnt an option :)
Its times like this that you realise how pathetic you all are.

Totally agree with that part, thats why I chose none. At the end of the day who am I to say this kind of fan or that kind of fan is annoying? I like that there are smark fans who know the business inside out, and fans who like to take an interest in backstage happenings.

On the flip side of the coin fact I like the marks who have recently been converted into liking wrestling, I like the casual fans who tune in now and then, and I like the fans who like to cheer for whoever they are supposed to cheer.

As long as you like wrestling, thats good enough for me. :xyx

I choose none because fans can be annoying groups of fans whatever the label are not.

I assume this is using the more modern definitions of the terms, rather than the traditional use of the word mark to suggest someone who thinks it's not pre-determined. The anti-smark that was mentioned just doesn't factor into this for me. You're either in the know, or your not. Personal opinions differ across the board, so it would be madness to claim that everyone who's smart to the business has to adore Bryan Danielson and hate Triple H.

The question is still a bit ambiguous though. This is like asking "Who's more annoying, people with black hair or people with brown hair?". Both extremes of the spectrum can be as irritating as each other. Someone who refuses to watch or acknowledge the decent stuff that WWE do will get on my nerves. Likewise, someone who refuses to broaden their horizons, will instantly crap all over anything that comes from the indies and will think of WWE as the be all and end all of the industry can be a nightmare to deal with.

In terms of what audiences make for better wrestling crowds, again, it's hard to specify. ROH crowds with love for the wrestling side of the business are a great asset to the company, and make the big matches like Kobashi Vs Joe or Low Ki Vs KENTA as special as they should be. I'd take a crowd of 1500 red hot ROH fans who are there to see wrestling rather than 12,000 filling up an arena for Raw who would pop more for Torrie Wilson Vs Candice <idon'trememberhersecondnameandshe'snotworthlookingup> than a well worked wrestling match. But when you hear stories of smaller indy promotions getting chants like "Sell the arm!", you think that's taking things too far. The ROH crowd has genuine love for the history and tradition of pro-wrestling as a sport, without negatively affecting the match atmousphere. It's the crowds which try to be like ROH audiences that cross into the boundaries of being too smark-ish, and end up ruining things.

As I said, both can be annoying, but I'd rather talk to someone who was more open to a wide variety of wrestling rather than someone who thinks they have to "support" WWE and everything else is instantly rubbish. For an audience, if they're smart in a way that won't affect the quality of the match, I'm happy to have them there.

I voted for Smarks because this is me personally looking at a few online sites and members within the IWC they demand a great match but then they crap over some stars for how hard they work within a ring to entertain. Personally and i will say this they over analysis everything.

Now i admit that i am an anti smark and you know the reason why, because even though i know what the terms are, i know who is probally going to get a push i still like to be entertained by all styles of Wrestling. Does this make me a bad person because i dont give a crap who is holding who down, or anything like that, i would rather sit down and watch a great match which for 15 minutes to an hour i can entertained.

Go on flame me for being honest

I consider myself a Smark, although I loathe labels, however I hate Smarks who analysis every single detail.
