I'd queue out... I just didnt know it could bedone. What I mean is, for the events in November, could I have gone to Manchester and queued outside the box office for 12 hours? And been garanteed a top seat really?

Cheers,

Dickie

It depends I've only done House Shows since the UK Tapings started. Back when the UK PPV's were on you could go 12 hours early and the queue would already be outside the arena and down the road... not sure what the main TV is like currently; why I stick to what I know!

same thing with me, i didnt know they were being sold on ticketmaster.

How stupid is it that you cant pick the block!

i got 2 for RAW tapings and 2 for SD tapings but just waiting for bookingdirect to email me. had them both booked at 9:08am so hopeful

OK, a little something that I found out about Ticketmaster.

They don't let you choose the block until after a "certain period", which they choose at their own leisure.

The problem with this is that their system decides on what are the "best seats" which means that it fills certain sections before others.

Normally you have to wait 2-3 days before you can choose your seating location - and there's nothing that the people on the phone cal do about this.

Ticketmaster always handle sales for Manchester, Newcastle and all Ireland locations. They seem to have taken hold of Glasgow now as well.

Other than that it seems to be Bookings Direct or the Arena's own websites for tickets.

I'm really not looking forward to the next time WWE UK Taping Tickets go on sale if its not at one of the places I listed above, or otherwise its gonna be dealing with crappy Bookings Direct again.

I went through about a dozen seating positions before finding seats I liked. Sometimes searching by price works better it seems.

Same here Mate. For Raw I purchased Block D Row B straight away, but for Smackdown I searched for over an hour for a relatively decent seat. (Block 105 Row Q)

Well done for peeps who got good tickets, I don't know what the crap with bookingsdirect was but I know when the booking was for last years Survivor Series Tour there was straight away a pick your seat option.

I've never waited outside for tickets but I remember someone saying last year they camped out for Coventry tickets I think it was and they said they got there about 5 or 6 with hardly anyone there so I know what i'm doing when i'm going by myself.

How long did you queue at Birmingham for? Was it outside? Did you sleep? i'm intrigued!

I was there for arond 12 hours, I didn't go to sleep no, I have to stand up and keep moving or else I get too cold; so I just walk back and forward. Hate doing it but I have small nephews who can't see anywhere on the Floor unless they're at the front. Some people come and then quit a few hours into it as they can't take it, boredom, pain and the cold can get to people. April is always the better month to queue because November is always terrible weather. I haven't even been to bed since Wednesday night yet don't feel tired yet, it really messes me up. And yeah it was me that did Coventry the year before that; I was gonna try Nottingham as it is City Center and isn't a boring as the NEC, especially with the big lake that creates so much wind it freezes you to death...

Awesome mate, get some sleep now dude! I thought it was you at Coventry, by the way why don't you just have a few hours kip before setting out and go around 4 or 5? One thing how many people were there around 4?

I'm just intrigued as to if it's better to go earlier and how many people turn up. When did they first start turning up in groups? Did you take anything to pass the time?

Fair play to all the people who camp out for the best WWE event tickets they can get their hands on. There's no way I could ever do anything like that though, when I have the warmth and comfort of ordering relatively decent tickets online.

It changes, I mean Coventry had like 10 times the number of people the NEC had yesterday. But Coventry never had an online box office like the NEC did so was worth it; people who were outside there were all around ringside on the day. If your waiting outside the NEC say 10th in line you could be waiting till 9:30am at the earliest before you get in and order because they are so slow, meanwhile people are online and phoning up getting to order earlier than you are. They do not hold any seats for people outside, if the phones and internet still go down these days then great (thanks Shayne Ward) but I've been out longer than 12 hours and ended up in the 5th, 8th and even 12th row at places like Manchester/Sheffield after spending the whole night out. When the tapings were at the NEC I went and there were people already there so I just came home, used the internat at 9am and got lucky and got front row; better seats than I would have had for sure if I had stayed there all night. You have to make up your own mind about whether you think it is worth it or not. My nephew came this time and took stuff like a PSP but unless you do something like that in the 1st hour your hands are just too cold to do it as he found out. If I was to give an exact time to beat the rush I would say go at 5am. The groups tend to show up from 6am onwards. And there are windows so even if you're first, the guys who show up ages after you can end up with better seats as they can order at the same time and when you factor in the phone/internet just don't go there expecting Front Row. The ammount of times I've been out 12 hours + and had Front Rows would be 3 in 10. All night for 12th row isn't fun, especially when you don't even a Tron to watch at a House Show...

12th row being your worst, isn't really a bad effort though? If you hit it at 4am you'd be looking good for sure? I mean, if your first in line, you've got a better chance than if your 10th in line?! So it's a matter of getting there the earliest you can?

Awesome: My tickets for the Raw Tapings arrived this morning, which will most likely mean my Smackdown ones will arrive tomorrow or Saturday. :xyx

Thats why I love Ticketmaster as you always tend to get tickets within the first week, unlike Bookings Direct who keep you waiting for months.

    • When the Carolina Panthers signed Andy Dalton earlier this offseason, they had their soon-to-be No. 1 overall pick in mind. Why not roster a 12-year veteran and three-time Pro Bowler to consult with your rookie quarterback? But what the Panthers might not have known is that Dalton also has some chops as a fashion consultant. Dalton, Bryce Young and Matt Corral looked a bit different—perhaps slimmer depending on who you ask—when they hit the practice field on Monday. Instead of donning the usual red practice jerseys, the trio began the latest installment of organized team activities in black—a change inspired by the 35-year-old passer. Corral was really loving the switch. Here were his thoughts, courtesy of Panthers.com’s Darin Gantt: Gantt also got a few words from the fashion icon himself: It’s not as powerful as “Keep Pounding,” but perhaps the Panthers can look good, feel good and play good into the 2023 campaign. • The NFC South returned to its 2014 form this past season. (For those who aren’t exactly acquainted with the “NFSW South,” yeah, it’s not good.) An 8-9 record, one mustered up by the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, was good enough to take the division’s 2022 crown. Behind them were the Carolina Panthers, New Orleans Saints and Atlanta Falcons—all of whom finished at 7-10. So, will this year be different? • Russell Okung may have never been called “fast” during his 11-year NFL career. But now, he’s embraced a different kind of fast in finding life after football. Almost two months ago—on Easter Sunday, to be exact—the former Carolina Panthers offensive lineman tweeted out a picture displaying the fruits of his dramatic body transformation. Once 330 pounds, a slender Okung looked precisely how the caption of the post read—”Reborn.” So, how did he do it? On Monday night, the 34-year-old answered that question: Okung added the following in a series of additional tweets: The 2010 sixth overall pick and two-time Pro Bowler played his final professional season with the Panthers in 2020. So, by our and Okung’s calculations, that was about three years and over 100 pounds ago. • The Dallas Cowboys started their week by bringing in seven players for a look—and among them was a former Carolina Panthers quarterback. Jacob Eason worked out for “America’s Team” on Monday. The 25-year-old passer was released by the Panthers back on May 18. Eason cracked into the pros as a fourth-round draft pick of the Indianapolis Colts in 2020. He appeared in his first NFL game in Week 2 of the 2021 campaign—when he completed two of his five passes for 25 yards and a pick against the Los Angeles Rams. After being waived by the Colts later that season, and then by the Seattle Seahawks in the summer of 2022, Eason landed in Carolina at the start of last season. In what would be his lone outing for the Panthers, the 6-foot-6, 231-pounder mopped up to finish off the Week 6 loss to the Rams (again)—where he threw for 59 yards and an interception. • Should the Carolina Panthers play it out with CJ Henderson in 2023 or pass him on to the next spot before the summer is over? Bleacher Report’s Kristopher Knox thinks they should be of the latter thought, opining that a split with the 24-year-old cornerback may be best for both sides. Henderson was acquired by the Panthers in a 2021 swap with the Jacksonville Jaguars, who made the University of Florida product the ninth overall pick just a year earlier. Carolina parted ways with tight end Dan Arnold and a 2022 third-round pick for the defender and a 2022 fifth-rounder. Similarly to his brief time in Jacksonville, Henderson has not been able to stick on in Charlotte—having struggled over much of his 27-game stint for his new squad. His roughest outing, perhaps, came in what was essentially the NFC South title game this past season—when he was a prominent part of the coverage that allowed 207 yards and three touchdowns to Tampa Bay Buccaneers wideout Mike Evans. The Panthers declined Henderson’s fifth-year option back on May 1.
