No but when WCW did it to WWE everyone seemed to find a problem with it... I don't really see a problem too much' date=' get the guys you want for your company its what all companies do but its the way WWE has double standards that annoys me, its ok for them to do it but not anyone else![/quote']

i agree on the monday night wars dvd vince was crying bout wcw raiding his talent and now they doing same thing plus if wwe bury tna by stealing talent then they will have no competition and wwe will go mega stale again

The ironic thing is, Vince and the WWE "raided" all the regional promotions in the 80', with guys like Dibiase. Savage, Race, Steamboat, JYD etc.

But I really don't believe in the word "raid" with regards to talent. If one promotion offers a worker of another promotion a deal, and that deal if better for the worker, then why shouldn't they sign, business is business.

If the ECW brand sign TNA guys like Rhino, then its just business, it has nothing to do with raiding talent, at least not in my view anyway, the more competion the better.

The prospect of having 4 national televised promotions in the States is something that can only be good for the wrestlers in the states, they will;

WWE on USA & UPN/CW Network

TNA on Spike

WWE's - ECW Brand on WWE.com / and maybe USA

and possibly this MTV Wrestling project that maybe getting picked up.

If WWE did sign Rhyno to ECW then WWE would probably use his "Rhino" nameas thats what he used in ECW' date=' anyway, im sure if Rhino left for WWE/ECW im sure some [i']will[/i] follow.

Note this down aswell...

"Friends" Say Ray wont work in the same Locker room as Ace again, which means its not directly from the mouth of Ray, It's probably people stratching the truth abit.

"Friends"= Locker Room Snitches;)

congratulations were on the third page and all i hear is Rhyno and The Dudleys,some imaginations there.

Most of the ECW alumini are either embroiled in WWE feuds or are with TNA,i dont think Steve Corino wanted to return espicially with Dreamer in charge though never say never-Roadkill,Balls Mahoney,Danny Doring,Axl Rotten,Mikey Whiprecht,Tajiri,Francine are all free agents,Sandman dosent really need the money.

theres more of a list of who they possibly wont get:Terry Funk(unless a few one offs),New Jack (too mental),Perry Saturn (retired),2 cold scorpio (happy in Japan)Tracey Smothers (too old? but a JBL feud would be fun)Mike Awesome(???) Masato Tanaka (cant see it)Missy Hyatt (i can dream) and of course the TNA boys

I really hope Rhyno doesn't leave TNA. After the crap WWE put him though, I think it would be foolish to. Given weirder things have happened, but I hope not.

Especially if Paul E is booking it' date=' because Paul likes Rhino, so it'd be all gravy for him.[/quote']

Well I could see Paul being the main reason. Even if the money isn't as good as it was when he first signed for WWE then WWF, I don't think he will care as he will be working with Heyman and working for the product he loves.

What the hell...I havent watched any WWE for about 4/5 months (well except 20mins of Backlash last night) So is the WWE really bring the ECW brand back? your is it all just nasty rumours?

And by the way, I would love it if Rhyno returned to WWE/ECW.

It's been confirmed by pwinsider and Meltzer, and WWE have started advertising a WWE vs ECW TV show in November, so it's a dead cert.

I imagine new ECW will be a combination of old ECW alumni (i.e Crazy, Dreamer, Sandman, Sabu, RVD, Credible, Rhino, Nova, Richards, Doring, Roadkill, Guido, Tajiri maybe, Kash, Psicosis, C.W maybe etc.) with a mix of new development talent and cruisers, like CM Punk, Spanky, Jamie Noble etc.

Basically people who fit the ECW mentality.

    • When the Carolina Panthers signed Andy Dalton earlier this offseason, they had their soon-to-be No. 1 overall pick in mind. Why not roster a 12-year veteran and three-time Pro Bowler to consult with your rookie quarterback? But what the Panthers might not have known is that Dalton also has some chops as a fashion consultant. Dalton, Bryce Young and Matt Corral looked a bit different—perhaps slimmer depending on who you ask—when they hit the practice field on Monday. Instead of donning the usual red practice jerseys, the trio began the latest installment of organized team activities in black—a change inspired by the 35-year-old passer. Corral was really loving the switch. Here were his thoughts, courtesy of Panthers.com’s Darin Gantt: Gantt also got a few words from the fashion icon himself: It’s not as powerful as “Keep Pounding,” but perhaps the Panthers can look good, feel good and play good into the 2023 campaign. • The NFC South returned to its 2014 form this past season. (For those who aren’t exactly acquainted with the “NFSW South,” yeah, it’s not good.) An 8-9 record, one mustered up by the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, was good enough to take the division’s 2022 crown. Behind them were the Carolina Panthers, New Orleans Saints and Atlanta Falcons—all of whom finished at 7-10. So, will this year be different? Join us in our Wire Network roundtable—featuring managing editors Matt Urben (Falcons Wire), John Sigler (Saints Wire) and River Wells (Bucs Wire)—as we set our realistic expectations for each team in 2023. • Russell Okung may have never been called “fast” during his 11-year NFL career. But now, he’s embraced a different kind of fast in finding life after football. Almost two months ago—on Easter Sunday, to be exact—the former Carolina Panthers offensive lineman tweeted out a picture displaying the fruits of his dramatic body transformation. Once 330 pounds, a slender Okung looked precisely how the caption of the post read—”Reborn.” So, how did he do it? On Monday night, the 34-year-old answered that question: Okung added the following in a series of additional tweets: The 2010 sixth overall pick and two-time Pro Bowler played his final professional season with the Panthers in 2020. So, by our and Okung’s calculations, that was about three years and over 100 pounds ago. • The Dallas Cowboys started their week by bringing in seven players for a look—and among them was a former Carolina Panthers quarterback. Jacob Eason worked out for “America’s Team” on Monday. The 25-year-old passer was released by the Panthers back on May 18. Eason cracked into the pros as a fourth-round draft pick of the Indianapolis Colts in 2020. He appeared in his first NFL game in Week 2 of the 2021 campaign—when he completed two of his five passes for 25 yards and a pick against the Los Angeles Rams. After being waived by the Colts later that season, and then by the Seattle Seahawks in the summer of 2022, Eason landed in Carolina at the start of last season. In what would be his lone outing for the Panthers, the 6-foot-6, 231-pounder mopped up to finish off the Week 6 loss to the Rams (again)—where he threw for 59 yards and an interception. • Should the Carolina Panthers play it out with CJ Henderson in 2023 or pass him on to the next spot before the summer is over? Bleacher Report’s Kristopher Knox thinks they should be of the latter thought, opining that a split with the 24-year-old cornerback may be best for both sides. Henderson was acquired by the Panthers in a 2021 swap with the Jacksonville Jaguars, who made the University of Florida product the ninth overall pick just a year earlier. Carolina parted ways with tight end Dan Arnold and a 2022 third-round pick for the defender and a 2022 fifth-rounder. Similarly to his brief time in Jacksonville, Henderson has not been able to stick on in Charlotte—having struggled over much of his 27-game stint for his new squad. His roughest outing, perhaps, came in what was essentially the NFC South title game this past season—when he was a prominent part of the coverage that allowed 207 yards and three touchdowns to Tampa Bay Buccaneers wideout Mike Evans. The Panthers declined Henderson’s fifth-year option back on May 1.
