What about the younger and newer fans that never got the chance to experience the originals of everything like DX and the nWo.

I think if WWE does this right then DX can work but if they don't then this could hurt them drastically.

They should in theory get to see a new take on Wrestling with subtle hints and influences nodding to the past.

You got to remember teams and stables are different to movements.

nWo and DX were part of a movement, a changing of the times, a new era in Professional Wrestling. Something that had never been seen or done before but had nods to their influences (former great stables like The Horseman etc) with the whole anti-establishment, anti-rules thing.

But they were still continuously pushing the boundaries/envelope just that bit further.

That's why Evolution were great. They were almost like the Horseman but new and improved with their OWN gimmick and look but with a nod to the past. Which is how it should always be done. That's how you progress and move forward, and that's what Vince should be doing now. :xyx

Just my opinion.

why does that automatically make it sensible to portray two guys who were killing each other for two solid years best buddies all-of-a-sudden? Its stupid.
Have you never had a friend that you've fallen out with? Maybe even had a fight or two? And you suddenly realise what a tit you're being and you make up? Or you realise you still have common ground and you become friends again?

I know I have had full blown brawls with some of my best mates....called them everything under the sun, said I'd never want anything to do with them again........but time is a great healer. (I realise there hasn't been that much time between HBK/HHH disliking each other, but a little leeway can be allowed).

So, IMO, if it can happen in real life, why not in a WWE storyline?

but we never were told why HHH turned face or why Vince stopped bowing to his demands' date=' right? Its stupid, another example of WWE not explaining their actions.[/quote']

I believe that Triple H called Vince the old man? Feeble old man? Actions explained :) and HHH turned face because the crowd put him there, so he followed it up. (The crotch-chops alone helped him on his way to that)

When DX were at their best late '97 through '98 you would have been what say 7 or 8 years old?

Now I'm not saying you can't remember but I'm sure you'll agree that there is no way on earth that you could appreciate it the same way you could now at the age of 15/16 being from what I can tell of your posts a bonafide Smark(which is a good thing).

As for nWo,

seeing old re-runs is not the same as having been there.

That's like me saying I can truly appreciate and comprehend the impact that Pele and Best had on football when I grew up loving Romario, Ian Wright, Kluivert, Cantona, Zidane and lately Ronaldinho etc. It's a different era something that I wasn't apart of, so could never truly understand because I wasn't there.

Don't get me wrong I can watch old matches and make comments like;

"that was amazing especially for how many years ago it was!"

But that's not the same as;

"Jesus Christ what the hell was that? I've never seen anything like that in my life before... Absolutely incredible!"

Can you see the difference mate?:xyx

They should go buy 'The Monday Night Wars'

I can honestly say i've never attacked any of my friends with a sledge hammer

If it ever got to the stage where I was knocking a mate out or he was attempting to break a bone or two of mine you can guarantee the reason that made the fight came about would be so unforgiving that we'd both be one friend less from then on.:xyx

The DeGeneration X reunion angle involving Shawn Michaels and Triple H re-aligning will reportedly begin on television in a few weeks, leading into the group’s advertised appearance at Vengeance, reports PWTorch.com.

Current plans do not, however, call for DeGeneration X to serve as a long-term WWE stable. Thus, there is presently no talk of featuring anyone but Shawn Michaels and Triple H in the group.

So thats the latest going around apparently

Dx-who Cares-I do!

Am I the only one who doesnt give two shits about D-Generation X? They were ok at the time, but that was almost 10 years ago and, like the nWo, they didnt age well. The whole crotch chopping thing seems so outdated and stale, it also holds no shock factor, which is what DX is supposed to be all about.

When they teased it in 2002, it seemed old news then, that was four years ago.

I dunno, there isnt much about a 40+ year old Christian HBK pretending to be cool or HHH who has moved so far above and beyond what DX was that I find interesting.

DX will kick start an otherwise stale federation. That along with ECW ECW will put the WWE firmly back on top. And if you think DX won't have a few twists then you have another thing coming. And thats all I have to say about that!

A Wrestling God!!!!!!!
