I was wondering, is there any Fire Pro Wrestling games available on the Wii? I don't read up on it much, but I'm sure I read you can download old games for it.

 

Anyone know? Is there a list of old games anywhere?

Do you have a Japanese PS2 or is there any other way to get around it? I am desperate to play that game. Some of the stuff on it looks absolutely amazing.

No I have a regular PSTwo Slimline thing, I bought a fliptop from the USA, here is the link:

With postage it was like £25 and came within a week. Easy to install, you just take off the top of your usual PS2 and place this one on, then you can play all imports and copied games etc.

 

Also, you really need two memory cards for the transfers and because you need the English patch to play it, you need to buy a Max Drive which you can get on eBay. You download the patch and whatever other files from the net you want (I downloaded all the old WWF guys and all the TNA guys plus a bunch of ring designs), you put it on the Max Drive (which is USB) and then transfer it to your memory card via the USB port on your PS2.

The game lacks in graphics, but it makes up for that in gameplay, its easily the best game I've played, I prefer it over No Mercy on the N64.

By the way, them videos look awesome. What do you think of the hardcore matches? Has blood been improved too? On the old games, it's just a patch, but with barbed wire, explosions and lighttubes, I hope they've made it gory.

I've not had a go on the hardcore matches yet so cant really tell you about the blood, and this is the first Fire Pro game I've played so I wouldnt be able to tell you how the blood compares to the other games either, sorry bro.

Looks exactly like Fire Pro D. Did anyone ever release a patched version of that for the Dreamcast?

If you love Firo Pro, then King of Colloseum II should also be fun. There are patches out there, and while the game is about Japanese companies, the edits are decent and you can create your own organization. The gameplay is pretty much a 3D fire pro.
