Sid to rule WWE again?

Every Cena match in your mind, right? Lets save the humourous hyperbole to Kevin Nash and the real comedians.

You're wrong anyway. The pre-cursor was when the crowd booed Hulk Hogan at the 1992 Royal Rumble and cheered when he was eliminated.. by Sid, I believe.

All the more reason to hire Sid.

Every Cena match, there will be either a HUGE amount of booing, or a faint amount. Either way, it's there.

As for the Hogan precursor, actually no. By the time it got over to our shores it had been edited by the heat machine to eliminate the boos. And besides, it's not as if Hogan was being booed the second the crowd laid eyes on him, it was for what appeared to be a heelish act.

Besides the first one I know of was actually the Freebirds (heels) vs the Dynamic Dudes or some awful name (Shane Douglas and Johnny Ace). The babyface surfer boys were booed right out of the building, and it was awesome.

I like Sid and if they are gong to bring him back, more power to him I say. Sid was geniunely one I could be scared of because you never really knew about his sanity level. "Sycho" Sid was his best personality.

I've seen plenty of Cena matches, and read an insane amount of house show reports even lately, where you can't hear a single boo, unless it's the kinda boo that is akin to the faint cheer you'll hear for Edge or the faint boo you'll hear for Shawn Michaels and HHH. Cena only gets the big time boos that matter 1 in 2 times.

Oh no, I agree. But that has happened with guys like Cena and The Rock too. People cheered who eventually are turned on during the match. The difference is that it wasn't an isolated incident for Hogan, much like The Rock started getting boos too until he turned heel in 2003 and became cheered again. To me, and bare in mind I don't like late 80s/early 90s WWF so I try not to watch too much of it, that was the equivilent to say... Summerslam 05, where the fans were cheering Jericho over Cena for the first time, and Sid/Michaels being, to my knowldge, the first time that Michaels was prominantly booed as a babyface.

Puh-lease. Like any of those can match up to the entertainment value of Sid. Johnny Ace doesn't screw up his lines and ask for a retake on live TV. Michael Hayes doesn't tell you that he has half the brain that you do.

Everyone is inferior to the Sid.

Particularly the 4 way angle with Taker, Bret and Austin.
Wasn't that Vader?
In the run up to Wrestlemania 13, all four men were involved in each others' storylines.

The only reason the crowd booed Hogan is because he helped Flair, not because they preferred Sid. Thats my opinion and it shall never be changed :lol
He wasn't helping Flair when Sid dumped him out...in fact he was kicking Flair like a scalded mule.

I like Sid, always have and always will. Even his short ECW run was decent. Especially when he tried to kill John Kronus.

whoooo! Sid coming back would be great. He would destroy Cena (hopefully). Not the greatest wrestler ever but come on there have been worse ones.

I cant say that I would be filled with excitement if Sid came back, but I would give him a fair chance. I think he would be really good if he was a muscle member of a faction.

After Sid dumped Hogan out, Hogan grabbed his arm and helped Flair eliminate him to win the WWF title.

People were booing moreso because they were pissed that Hogan helped Flair win the title rather than because they didnt like Hogan. Every other second of that match where Hogan was present, he was cheered like crazy.

Hogans boo's only really started in WCW.

The cheered Sid throwing Hogan out, which had nothing to do with Hogan helping Flair. I get that they booed Hogan when he helped Flair, which was such a "sore-loser" thing for a top babyface to do, but before he did that, Hogan may not have been booed, but there was a lot of cheers when he was eliminated.

No they booed him because they were sick of him being shoved down their throats every week for years. However it was only a minor part of the audience that was booing anyway. That's my opinion and it shall never be altered even slightly.

I would mark like a little Girl if Sid comes back. Sid is the best technician ever Sid makes Chris Benoit look like Mike Knox. Sid is the best brawler ever he makes Undertaker look like Henry Goodwin. Sid is the best World champion ever he makes John Cena look like... ... Um John Cena. Sid is the greatest orater in history he makes Rock sound like Torrie Wilson. Sid is the sexiest beast to ever lace up boots he makes... ... no wait.

Yeah Sid is one of those workers I would like to see back in some capacity. I remember seeing a Shoot with him a few years back when he said he could still do a huge job for the WWE now in a non-wrestling capacity.

Would be good to see him even if it was just a one-off.

As people have said he went a long way with not much talent but he managed to stay over and his promos were always...interesting.
