After being subjected two weeks in a row to the sadistic whims of others, next week it’s time for The Game to make the rules. And what Triple H has in mind spells nothing but hurt for his WrestleMania XXIV opponents, Randy Orton and John Cena.

 

Two weeks ago, RAW General Manager William Regal announced a Triple Threat Takeover, allowing each of the three men involved in the WWE Championship Triple Threat Match to arrange their opponents’ bouts for one week. That night, on John Cena’s command, Triple H was forced to battle reigning WWE Champion Randy Orton. Last week, The Cerebral Assassin was pushed into a match with his WrestleMania XV opponent, Kane, compliments of Orton.

 

This week, however, Triple H has arranged a match pitting Cena & Orton against the entire RAW Roster. (No, really. It’s true!)

 

What does this mean? Having suffered through two weeks of his opponents’ will, can The Game capture the momentum in the weeks leading up to the greatest stage in all of sports-entertainment?

 

In other action, Chris Jericho returns to RAW as the new Intercontinental titleholder after defeating former champion Jeff Hardy. Tonight, Y2J will kick off RAW with The Highlight Reel and he will have a huge guest - Big Show!

 

The bad blood continues to flow between Big Show and his WrestleMania foe Floyd “Money” Mayweather. The animosity between the two flooded the arena last week when The World’s Largest Athlete grabbed the WBC Welterweight Champion after their weigh-in, lifted him overhead and tossed him over the top rope causing Mayweather to injure his elbow. Will Mayweather be able to continue with their match? If so, how will The Greatest Fighter in the World retaliate?

*Assuming The Cena/Orton Vs RAW match is the main event.

Does that mean that certain members of the roster have to wrestle twice? Or that it is just a one match show that will be broken up with backstage skits and videos?

 

I mean I'm a big Cena fan but that sounds like overkill, even if it shows HHH to be the smartest of the three (logically, it's a great idea - I just fear the practicality of it).

This has bad news written all over it.

I agree if its just 2 hours of Cena & Orton going over wrestler's then it is going to be serious overkill

 

I said in the 'Wrestlemania Rewind Raw' thread the way I would do it is announce at the begining of the show that the way it works is:

 

Cena and Orton have to stay together everywhere during the show and any 2 Raw wrestlers can attack them at any time anywhere in the building as long as they bring a ref with them, the first set of wrestlers to score a win over Cena and Orton gets a tag team title shot but if you are in a losing team then you can't challenge Cena and Orton again and you both lose your chance.

 

If Cena and Orton lose then there is some kind of punishment for them, I can't think of anything at the moment off the tp of my head, which ensures they don't just lay down for everyone without trying to fight back

 

That way its not just Cena and Orton wrestling wave after wave of people in the ring, a match can be happening in the ring and while that is happening they can cut to a backstage report that there is a Cena/Orton vs ? match happening and HHH looks smarter because making it like the old Hardcore Title rule means there is more chance Cena & Orton will get hurt as there is more danger in the back (with tables, walls, doors etc to be slammed in to) then wrestling in the ring

Yeah, I think that would be a good idea. Kind of like the "bounty" thing, where Triple H would put a "bounty" on Cena & Orton's head and he offered them either money or the first title shot when he becomes champion at WrestleMania. I don't see it happening in any other way other than a Gauntlet Match or a Battle Royal.

 

Believe it or not, the Power 25 over at WWE.com made a good point when commenting about this match. They asked- Does this include the RAW Broadcast Team? How awesome would it be to see J.R. & "King" face Cena & Orton? Highly unlikely, but that would be entertaining.

On saying that Umaga really impressed me in that match. They pushed him well as a monster in that match

It is pretty blatent that a turn is in the works. They could have just kept them as a team and stuck them on Smackdown.

He needs to come out during the match, acting like he is going to help Flair.

HBK and Flair and just gone beyond caring, HBK should have gone heel a long time ago. Now

with all this 'I love you' crap, I have just stopped carring about the match.

 

Flair should have had a better opponent to end his career, since MVP and Hardy are not fighting, MVP could have done with the extra rub.

The ENTIRE Raw roster is made up of bums.

I dont need some random woman telling me I can watch Wrestlemania.
