Guest DarkMatchJobber
Remember when the ECW crowd was booing Big Show and Batista a while back with chants of " You can't wrestle! " and other stuff I won't repeat here but my point is that if Batista had debuted in the original ECW with the look he had (minus the deacon crap) he would probably have gotten over as the next big heel main-eventer there. Guest DarkMatchJobber
No, he wouldn't. I disagree because Paul Heyman was excellent at getting the best out of limited wrestlers (especially big men) and he would have booked 'The Animal' more to his strengths than WWE do. Dead Crow 370
I don't think Heyman would have even hired him in the first place. And his track record with limited big men wasn't THAT good.

And his track record with limited big men wasn't THAT good. The only real big man that I can see Heyman having booked really well was Mike Awesome. You could argue 911, but he rarely had any actual matches of any note, so his booking was more of a "run in and kill whoever is in the ring at the time... so long as it's not Taz". Heyman did better in booking smaller guys who were overlooked in other companies or never hired by them in the first place.

You could even say he kept a fading BBBigelow over. Theres 3 big men booked well.

The Icon 152
How long was Sid with ECW? January 1999 to May 1999. Which was still a longer ECW run then either Steve Austin or Brian Pillman had.

The Icon 152
Sid and Bigelow were established stars where as Awesome and 911 were not. We are not talking about established. We are talking about getting stars over. Normally an ECW crowd would chew up and spit out somebody like Sid. That Paul booked him so good he was cheered shows how good he can book big men.
