**MOVED FROM THE PICTURE THREAD***

Whats with those f*cking skinny jeans?! Thats all they sell everywhere now to the point where its become impossible to find decent jeans in most highstreet shops. The little scrawny runt emo's run around down here wearing them with all their ass and pants hanging out.

I used to get my jeans in places like River Island or Top Man for like £45-55 quid, now its all skinny jeans so I have to go to the little shops in the backstreets that charge £90 for jeans.

Well Top Man sells jeans cheaper than £50, and I bought a pair of Levi 501s last week for £55, so it's not all bad on the jean front at the moment.

I'm just going to take a wild guess here, but I'm assuming you don't have the figure for skinny jeans? Something so subtle as skinny jeans shouldn't cause such concern for people. Hell maybe if they had a huge whole around the arse cheek as a fashion statement than possibly, but I've never seen someone who wears skinny jeans complain at my straight cut/loose ones.

They aren't actually skinny jeans. I don't have the figure for skinny jeans. You can get good jeans in Top Shop, just try on boot cuts, or original cuts. same with H&M. Top Shop suffers because they give all their cuts really dumb made up names that make no sense.

Dont have the "figure" for skinny jeans? Who does have the figure for skinny jeans? They look stupid on anybody who wears them! I dont wear skinny jeans because they are retarded and make you look like a tosser. And what exactly do you mean I dont have the figure? Have you been looking at my ass?

Yeah Top Man sells jeans for less than £50, but I dont like buying cheap jeans and the style jeans I like arent available in Top Man or River Island anymore.

Cheap jeans are rubbish, im a total expensive jeans convert! Always get comments on my jeans now

I love Jeans from Burton.

And Skinny Jeans suck dick. My mum bought me a pair and I was like, the f*ck?

Screw paying loads for a pair of jeans that aren't "going out" pieces of clothing. Two pairs of denims from Tesco for £10 will do me.
Jeans are going out clothing for me, I wear them in public. Around the house I usually stick with shorts and a wifebeater, but in public its jeans and a shirt or a T-Shirt. Never wear trackies in public boys, never.

By "going out", I mean on a night out, not just leaving the house for whatever reason. I'll wear cheap jeans to work, to the shops, etc, as I see no point in spending a lot of money on something that is just for everyday wear.

I wear uniform to work so I dont need to buy work clothes. I like to look and feel good in nice clothes no matter where I am if I'm outside of the house. If I'm visiting friends, family, going to the pub, going in town, running errands, conducting business or whatever, expensive jeans, nice shoes and a pricey shirt or T-Shirt are a must.

Everybody is different, but if I was out in cheap plain blue jeans and a Primark T-Shirt, I wouldnt feel comfortable.

I know what you mean Belty, I'm sorta like that, almost all my clothes are from the likes of Fat Face or Quiksilver or FCUK. I don't wear jeans much though, I tend to go for cargo pants.
Jeans are bloody uncomfortable. I prefer Track pants.
Never seen the point in spending stupid amounts of money on expensive clothes that i'm going to be wearing to do housework and run around after the kids, or pop to the shops. Never been a clothes snob, i'll wear what's comfortable. You don't need a £50 pair of jeans to be comfortable. Anyway, if I wore anything expensive, i'd give it 2 days before it ended up covered in paint, food, bleach or something similar.

You might not need expensive jeans/clothes to feel comfortable, I do, and why are people who like to buy and wear expensive clothes "clothes snobs"? Thats a little unfair, isnt it? Thats like me saying those who wear cheap clothes are clothes tramps, which also isnt true. And £50 on a pair of jeans is hardly stupid amounts of money.

People like what they like. Those who like to wear expensive clothes shouldnt be labelled any moreso than those who prefer to spend their money on other things and are happy to wear cheaper clothes.

I'd rather buy expensive clothes than eat, and sometimes I do. My jeans cost around £65 a pair. I wouldnt wear jeans clubbing though, jeans are daytime wear.

Depends on how much money you have.

I rarely spend over £20 on an item of clothing, be it jeans, shirts or shoes. I find I can get stuff that looks the same, unless you have it close up to your face, cheap enough.

Though I agree that just because someone likes expensive clothes it doesnt make them a snob over it. Well, unless they cant tell the difference between the cheap and the expensive ones.

Your right, it certainly depends on how much money you have, £5 is alot to some people so spending £50 or more on jeans is crazy, but I think you either missed my point a little bit or I didnt make my point clear enough.

If you have the money, £50 isnt alot for jeans seeing as jeans can go upto £200-300 in some places and £50 for a nice pair isnt out of the ordinary crazy.

As for it looking the same, I disagree on that. Cheap jeans almost always look like cheap jeans.

Agreed. Buying for the sake of buying or to impress your mates is retarded. I buy nice clothes for me, regardless of whether other people looks at it or give a sh*t or not.
I hardly wear jeans anyway, shorts, now that's the future!
I've had the same pair of jeans for 5 years now. Shorts and t-shirt all the way.

That's moronic.
