Not sure if I did this before and it flopped or I intended to do a thread like it and just didn't.

 

Anyhoo, as the question above states:

 

If you had the ability and the team to make a computer game, what would it be?

 

Me? I love, love, love my Zombie Apocalypse stuff! So my game would be and RPG style action game based in a country where the Zombie Apocalypse had occured and your character needed to get to safety, only to find there is no such thing and then go on a clean up operation (perhaps with an AI team).

 

Your character could be based on several skills, but what I imagine is that the type of character you pick would change the way your character did things. For example, a Parcour jumper, would be able to leap and jump from building to building (very much like Assassin's creaad) and take out Zombies from long distance, but he wouldn't be as good at shooting as say, a military sniper.

 

The final part is that you could go into multiplayer online mode, where you characters exist in the world together and are part of the cleanup crew. Your characters get bit, they become playable zombies until you get shot and then you go back to your character.

 

There are other ideas, but I'm interested in what you'd make :)

I'd make a Lord Of The Rings Version Of Chess.

That sounds like the new Resi game coming out. Operation Raccoon City?

 

Either way, I'd play it. I love zombie games :) Is your game in the 3rd person?

I'd love to see either a proper modern update of Elite 2:Frontier or a proper sequel.

An open world RPG where somehow all the the various realms have been merged, for example, our world, the underworld and the realm of the gods, Magic has been released into the world creating various super forms of human (to be able to compete with the likes of demigods and undead) and it would have the various factions choosing to either team up or fight each other, pool resources, build or destroy, and generally run around being super powerful and douchey. I personally, would love to see Thor vs Dracula vs Godzilla. And dammit, i'd make that possible. With fully destructible scenery and yes, Tony Chimmel*.

I'd bring Fear Effect 3 back from development hell in a heartbeat.

A primarily multiplayer game where each player takes control of a superhero with unique powers and have third-person deathmatches in small groups in a fully-destuctible open world city. Perhaps something like the Dragonball : Budokai Tenkaichi series, but with more detailed/interactive environments, a more fluid fighting system and with characters balanced for competitive play.

 

Imagine having a super-powered scrap at street level, players pinballing off the buildings, throwing cars at each other, lightning crackling through the streets, pedestrians running for their lives. You smack the other guy through a high-rise office window before leaping inside yourself, launching photocopying machines at each other and generally making a physics-enabled tip of the place, before stunning your opponent, flying out of the window and bringing the entire building around him down with a charged blast.

 

Of course, I can see the technical difficulties there but that would be sweet, oh yes!
