Hopefully (I say, getting my hopes up about commentary) that if Mistico comes back in the blue, commentary will be able to explain that "hey, there's the real Cara! We thought he'd just put on weight, but it must have been an imposter the whole time! No wonder he turned heel, the real Cara would never do that!"

 

This is not a time for ambiguity, Double Double E.

 

Of course, worst case, nobody explains anything and they go for "We all know who that is!" and we get a Cole heel rant about how the imposter is the real one or they're both the same or whatever else. So, hopefully not.

Which leads me to something related I've been meaning to bring up. The picture of heel Mistico teaming up with Averno that I've posted above reminded me - just what is the WWE going to do with Averno? He unmasked specifically so that he could go to the WWE, and I read somewhere a short while back that they still intend on using him, so that his unmasking wasn't for nothing.

 

Originally the idea was a Mistico version Sin Cara vs Averno feud, but I don't see that happening now.....

Averno was the original plan, but starting with the Suspension I think so much other stuff has been going on that the moment is long gone.

 

Not that they might not bring him in later on, but as far as now, they've moved in this direction with Cara now.

I imagine that if they do go down the Sin Cara I v Sin Cara II route, Averno could end up being unmasked at the end of it (as is the tradition in Mexico).

That is one cool kick-ass attire, really.

 

Since both the Cara's are gonna grunt and point to each other, I really don't know how WWE is gonna explain this stuff to the non-smarks and little jimmies. I doubt how much the commentary will be of help. They need one of the Cara's to be able to speak English at least.
