WWE I.C. Champion Christian Going to TNA's Slammiversary PPV

TNA Impact Wrestling President Dixie Carter (@TNADixie) has Tweeted that current WWE Intercontinental Champion Christian (formerly Christian Cage in TNA) will be in attendance for the 2012 TNA Slammiversary pay-per-view event:

"On a plane headed to Dallas for the big PPV this weekend. Very excited @Christian4Peeps is joinin us for the night. He's one of my favorites"

This must be payback for TNA allowing WWE to use Flair at the HOF.

Honestly, for a big 10th anniversary card, it doesnt look like much. Seems very thrown together, I think Sacrifice looked more appealing. Not that upset that I'll miss it really.

Although now that I think about it, Sting main eventing while the likes of AJ and Joe are in random undercard matches is actually a startlingly accurate representation of the history of TNA.

See that's what I was thinking at first. Then my conspiracy gears started turning and I started thinking maybe the whole thing is a big set up for Crimson's open challenge.

Will we see a big reveal? Will Christian pull an Alundra Blayze? Will Bill Goldberg show up and put Crimson in his place?

Doubt it, but I'll be monitoring this ppv anyway.

I'm looking forward to seeing what happens with Bully and Joe Park. Could really do without seeing Sting in the main event.

I wish I could see Bully/Park, yeah. Also Joe/Aries could be good, I guess.

I already saw Sting/Roode in March and I have zero interest in seeing it again.

Maybe someone wants to watch this.

Really tired of Anderson/Hardy and RVD wrestling for the number one contendership, seems like it's always these dudes... maybe it just seems that way.

Looking forward toJoe/Aries and seeing how Parks/Ray works out. Hoping for some smug Daniels as well. Haven't seen Kash in ages, I missed Impact this week though. PPV should be a non waste of time at least.

-- Numerous people in TNA are excited about the Austin Aries vs. Samoa Joe match. These two have the opportunity to tear the house down if given a good amount of time. This match is expected to go on early.

-- As of last word, there were over 5,000 tickets sold for tonight's Slammiversary pay-per-view. That does not include the walk-up. This is well above any TNA show outside of the U.K. We do know that the entire floor and lower tier are sold out. The arena is set up to hold about 6,000 fans.

Who knew Dallas was such a big TNA city?

That was a great match, the finishing run with Aries killing Joe with everything was awesome.

And man, a hot crowd makes such a difference.
