This deserves it's own thread because it is GLORIOUS. The smarm is literally dripping off the screen onto your keyboard as Hunter calmly explains to Cole why he has been completely misjudged and is really a super nice guy martyring himself for the good of the company.

I mean, if you had told me a month ago that I would sit through a 15 minute Hunter interview - in character - and love the absolute sh*t out of it, I may have punched you for being so stupid. But God damn it all, I love the absolute sh*t out of Troll Hunter.

He makes a great corporate talking head. He has all the buzzwords down pat.

 

"Let me work for you."

 

"You only understand your limited point of view."

 

"Townhall meeting."

 

It was a very good interview.

I've always loved Hunters smarmy in-ring persona...especially when in heel mode!

Fantastic little interview there, his responses and delivery are as hilariously great as ever.

 

Also, bonus points if you read WWE.com comments...kayfabe lives on there! XD

HHH advances the Rhodes family storyline by firing Dusty from his NXT role, he then introduces JBL as his replacement. Based on what happens later on it seems he's going to play the original role of "evil heel authority figure"

 

Oh good, another heel GM/owner/boss angle. Thats not been played out to absolute death.

Hunter firing Dusty from NXT is one of the greatest pieces of continuity on a micro level I may have seen from WWE in quite some time.

 

I absolutely love this angle.

It's pretty spectacular - ANYTHING involving heel hunter playing with the fans wins my vote...

Color me all in on this angle, I'm having a blast watching it unfold.

Will this lead to an NXT invasion??
