She told me herself that she had cancer and was going through chemo. I remember her saying in one of her birthday threads that she had gotten the all clear about something, must have been 10 years ago or so, but I'm pretty sure she told me about her cancer after that and relatively soon before she stopped posting and logging in. She was a nice person, hopefully she has recovered without any issues and is doing well. Edited May 18, 2014 by The Beltster

When I first joined one of the most active members was a proper nice chap called Cactus Jack. Just this cool, smart, friendly, funny guy who posted a lot, was really laid back and easy to get along with, even if you were a noob.

 

I remember him being made a mod, and maybe within a week he had posted to say he'd got himself a girlfriend.

 

Never posted again. Voomph. Gone from here. She must have loved his mod status :P.

That goes for alot of the original people here, when I joined in 2004 it was very cliquey and people didnt like new people coming in who were opinionated. I've never had a problem giving my opinion and generally dont care what people think so I never worried, but I know a few people at the time came, stuck around a month or so, couldnt handle what they were being given and took off.

Those of you that registered on these forums in October 2001 were most likely here before that date. I originally started the site using a free forum in 2000...then we moved to a phpBB, once I messed that up we ended up with this vBulletin which was launched in October 2001.

 

I know Inno would have been around from December 2000 as that's when we had our SmashWrestling partnership.
