Giroud irritates me, he just irritates the f*cking shit out of me. One game he's brilliant, the next he makes Bendtner look absolutely unplayable. He's not the sort of guy to make a blip or 2 but still have an overall good game, he'll just have an outright shocker all round for the whole 90 minutes. I like him I really do but he's just not consistent enough to be our main striker (the word striker I'm using loosely tonight). A striker should see the ball and the goal which is less than 10 yards away and eat the chance up, Giroud didn't even make contact with the damn ball, and he's supposed to be a striker! Sure everyone's allowed a slip up but he take the piss. Cavani please, f*ck it anyone else will do at the moment.

You Tweeter users will be able to confirm or deny this but apparently #ffsgiroud is trending :lol

Not anymore at least. Although "Sol Campbell" is, which is much the same message.

Besiktas are utter poo. They can push n shove quite well and defend in numbers quite well, but they're a seriously pooey side. We've not been that much better though :xyx.

Cazorla needs to come off for Joel Campbell though.

Cheers!

By far one of the worst performance I've seen from Giroud, and to be honest everyone else apart from Chambers and Monreal. Sanogo has to accept that for now his place in the team is behind Giroud who has to accept that his place in the team should be behind a world class striker that we're so desperate for. Imagine this... Imagine this... Özil, Alexis, Ramsey, Walcott, Cazorla, Podolski and others all creating fantastic balls.. To Giroud. I'm sick of defending the guy, he's not good enough.

I agree, Grings, about the striker. Although I would suspect Sanchez may be that guy when Walcott comes back.

I'll take a 0-0 tonight. I'm sure we'll win at home, but of course we have to have our heads screwed on and take the game seriously. Would love to see Rosicky and Campbell start.

Cheers!
