Can't wait for the draw tomorrow. As long as we avoid PSG/Dortmund/Juve from pot 2 then I think we should progress.

 

Worst case scenario is Real/PSG/Liverpool/Roma.

Whats up with Koscielny? Has he been unfit or has Wenger (and yourself based on that) just been prefering Chambers at centre half?

I believe he's injured with a slight achilles. If he's fit then Chambers is oot, of course. Couldn't stand another evening of commentators fawning over him shepherding the ball out for a goal kick anyway :P.

Bloody Nora, that was tense. Sky are rather curiously painting this as some gross injustice for Besiktas, but over both games Arsenal have received the majority of the poo decisions. That's not to say Besiktas didn't also get shafted too.

 

Well, after all's said and done, jeepers, two crackin' games. Now I can sit back and claim I enjoyed it.

Anyone seen the game at Bulgaria where ludgorets goaly got sent off with one minute to go in extra time and their outfield player saved 2 penalties to take them into the champions league

Chelsea aside, the English clubs would do well to get out of their groups. Arsenal should qualify, as should City, but I think Basel are going to give Liverpool a hell of a time. Looking forward to those matches f'sure.

I've already big statement'ed Liverpool not to make it out. I think Arsenal will but it will be tough. Galataseray are always a tough side especially away, but I think they'll probably squeak by.

 

Chelsea should win theirs, and City should probably get through but in second.

Absolutely lovely group for Chelsea. Ajax look as f*cked as usual though, Barcelona and PSG. I think City probably have the toughest group of the English teams, then Liverpool, then Arsenal, then Chelsea, although I'd expect at least three of them to make it through. It's hard to say without really knowing anything about this Liverpool side's European form.
