I support Europe mainly due the fact that when I was a kid Europe, despite having Faldo, Jose, Monty, Langer, Woodsman and Seve would always contrive to mess up on the last day and get beat.

 

Also the final day of 1999 with those horrid shirts and their all round douchebag behaviour really soured me to the US team.

David Love III will be named the next captain of the Ryder Cup team later today according to numerous media in the States.Big call this by the States, after the shambles that was Tom Watson, now to pick a captain that's already after losing a Ryder Cup.

To be fair to Love, they only lost the Ryder cup due to the heroics of the European singles and poulter inspiration, they looked a real force before their collapse so he'll use that lesson and learn from the mistakes he made , they have great youngsters coming through also so they are looking good
