Paul 584
Is it? Surely Ali had bigger? This is the biggest fight ever mate, sure Ali had big fights, so did Tyson but this will fight eclipse them all. I'll have to take your word on it mate. Im an outsider, and as far as I can see this is a massive fight and five years ago could have been biggest. Now it doesnt seem it. But what do I know about boxing? :lol
King 277
No that's a fair point mate, 5 years ago it should have happened and now it probably won't be as good as it should have been, but still maybe that it's gone on so long now more people will probably buy it. Guest bigmatt
I've had a look at Olly Murs' website, Ciaran (I had hardcore fetish porn open on another tab, ready and waiting to be quickly selected in case anyone walked in). It looks like he's in Nottingham on May 1st? This fight is May 2nd.

Guest bigmatt
I thought I was over this fight years ago. I purposefully skipped past any article that talked about the possibility of this fight happening or who'd win or whatever for about three years until the signing was finally imminent. But Jeez, I'm getting sucked in gently now. I'm watching promos and re-watching old fights again (common opponents mainly). The fact that the arguments for Manny having a chance are growing on me after about two years where I couldn't see anything other than a Floyd decision win is helping. Guest bigmatt
Floyd Mayweather's bout with Manny Pacquiao set to be screened on Sky after broadcasters beat BoxNation to mega-fight Sky had been in fierce completion from Frank Warren’s BoxNation channel but are believed to be on the brink of clinching British broadcasting rights Warren is understood to have offered the higher upfront fee of guaranteed payment But Sky are thought to have prevailed by offering the promoters a share of their pay-per-view revenue in addition It remains to be seen if they need to mark another first by raising the pay-per-view cost to their subscribers through their psychological £20 barrier By JEFF POWELL FOR MAILONLINE PUBLISHED: 19:33, 20 March 2015 | UPDATED: 20:03, 20 March 2015 Sky Sports are expected to be declared the winners of the bidding war for the right to the mega-fight between Floyd Mayweather and Manny Pacquiao. Sky has been in fierce completion from Frank Warren’s BoxNation channel but are believed to be on the brink of clinching the British broadcasting rights for the richest fight in ring history Sky will certainly need to break the pay-per-view record of 1.2m viewers here for Ricky Hatton’s crushing defeat by Mayweather in 2007. Those numbers suggest that Sky will have guaranteed in excess of £10m. US networks HBO and Showtime are sharing the broadcast in America, where Pacquiao’s promoter Bob Arum is predicting a record-shattering four million buys. If he is right, at $99.95, then the evening of May 2 at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas is set up to become the half a billion dollar fight. http://www.dailymail.co.uk/sport/boxing/article-3004727/Floyd-Mayweather-s-bout-Manny-Pacquiao-set-screened-Sky-broadcasters-beat-BoxNation-mega-fight.html

Guest Jase01
I think the 5-year negotiation for this fight is more like a 5-year promotion for me. Should the fight happened 3 or 4 years ago, both boxers could have earned less. Mayweather is expected to earn way more than the combined amount Ali and Frazier took home in their Thrilla in Manila fight in today's dollars. With that being said, people SHOULD expect a multi-million dollar match. As far as the fight is concerned, the only way for Manny to win is to score a knockout victory. Period. We all know who's going to win if he leaves his fate to the judges. but I am still expecting Floyd to step out of his usual game plan to engage Manny. Here's to more boxing news for future reference on this. Edited March 25, 2015 by Jase01
