Diesel vs Mable, SummerSlam 95. That was a great show, by the way. Main event stank though. Mabel vs Savio Vega as KotR finals back when KotR still meant something was wretched too. Lawler vs Piper as the special attraction was no better. The 95 KotR was generally a huge pile of shyte. Bossman vs Big Show for the WWF title was another.

Triple H vs Goldberg, Unforgiven 2003, instead of dropping the title at Summerslam in a sizzling Elimination Chamber match Triple H persisted while injured to drop it to Goldberg in September. The match from memory was forgettable. Also mention Triple H vs Steiner from the Rumble in 2003, so so bad

Brock V Goldberg, Wrestlemania 20.

If I have to explain why at this point, you've clearly never seen it!

I agree on the KoTR 1995 and the Diesel v Mabel main event of Summerslam that year as well. Who ever thought Mabel was the best idea for a headliner in any era let alone 1995 needs shooting.

HHH v Goldberg at Unforgiven 2003 and the three way between HHH v Kane v Goldberg at Armegeddon of that as well where turgid piles of poop as where most Raw PPV main events that year as HHH was just too big and bulky to do much coupled with niggling injuries - most of them where over booked nonsense.

Sting v Jeff Hardy, Ken Shamrock v Malice in NWA:TNA for the NWA title back in the old weekly PPV days, Takayama v Nakamura in the Tokyo Dome to unify the IWGP and NWF title when Naka was a rookie 10 months into his career and couldn't carry a match to save his life oh and the Extreme Elimination Chamber at December to Dismember 2006 or also known as the match that made Stevie Richards, Tommy Dreamer and Paul Heyman all want to quit wrestling... and they weren't even in the ring.

The Hogan/Nash finger poke of doom.....does that even count as a main event?

Bam Bam Bigelow v Lawrence Taylor wasn't all that terrible from what I remember but it had no business being the main event of Wrestlemania.
