Neville v Harper was fantastic.

However, poor Booker T may have topped his "We comin' for you, nigga" promo last night on RAW with his "He didn't defy gravity" comment about Owen Hart.

He's getting lambasted for it, but it was just an innocent slip of the tongue while trying to put over Neville.

it will be edited out of the raw replays. as always people trying to make someone the villain when he didn't mean it in that context.

Yeah, the Booker thing is a lot of fuss about nothing. I stopped watching after the first hour of Raw. I wasn't even watching live but I couldn't hack that first hour, maybe it was off the back of a lot of WWE with the three hour PPV on Sunday. I gave it another shot though and I'm glad I did. I really liked Sheamus/Ambrose and Neville/Harper and the main event were both good. The three-way at Payback could be a really good match but I suppose there'll be angle stuff with Kane and others which might take the edge off.

Cena and Rusev going again is a little strange? I know it's only a few week build between PPVs but they could have easily set something up. I'd have liked to have seen (KOTR spoilers):

[spoiler=King of the Ring Spoilers]Cena congratulate Neville for his showing in the King of the Ring, say he was impressed and wants to give him another shot for glory with a shot at his U.S Title at Payback. It would have done Neville a lot of good and been a fresh match.

But yes. Strange. Something's going on. Lana costs Rusev the match and turns? Lana costs Cena the title (Cena said no more rematches)? I'm not sure about that.

I'm glad that Kane is not in the three way at Payback. I enjoyed every part of the cage match at Extreme Rules until Kane came into the cage. There is no need for Kane, at this age, at this stage of his career and with his diminishing ability to be in an angle over the title.

They have Ziggler right there, Neville could be a cool little mini-feud, they have Ambrose as well - there are plenty of people to get in a programme with Rollins after this match without getting Kane involved.

Harper v Neville was quality as well. But am I the only one, aside from Austin maybe, who thinks trimming Raw to two hours and cutting out some of boring over scripted promo crap would be a benefit?

I hope you're joking! Everybody says that! but they make too much money in rights fees to do it.

I know money wise fair enough but from an artistic stand point, either put more matches on that mean something or cut the amount of time if you are struggling to fill it with actual quality product.

Or at the very least give me more people the chance to shape their promos and characters. They're all very good like Cena, McMahon and HHH at saying people should take more risks to get over but when they are suffocated with banal thoughts from people employed from outside the industry and face the prospect of getting thrown out of the only big game in town if they stick a toe out of line how are they supposed to?

Cool, a good promo, but there was no point in it progressing to that point. No one buys Kane as important anymore which is one part sad given his previous status and one part the WWE's fault for how they've treated him over recent years.

Kane is not the future, he shouldn't be in there with the future because at this point a win over him isn't even worth any kid of rub.

I don't know how smart Rusev is; why would anyone challenge Cena to an "I Quit" match (even in a storyline sense)? It's probably his strongest gimmick match (I know, he's strong in them all, but "never give up" and all that) and he has an unbeaten record in them; 4-0.

Oh yeah, I forgot about the gimmick. That cuts down on possible screw finishes, I suppose? Unless they've got a new one.

Could Lana throw in the towel after Rusev refuses to quit and Rusev goes off on her or something like that?

It could, but this is Cena and he's won two straight now so really it only points to another Cenawinslol moment.

We could be wrong, I hope I'm wrong because for Rusev to recover lost momentum and in fact keep any at all they need to move him away from Cena as soon as possible.
