The main change that will take place next season is that I'm going to allow 2 pick changes during each pick change...with the possibilities of even doing 3 changes at a time. I may also run 4 pick change dates instead of 3.

I want to make the game more competitive, I know some of you feel like if you get a bad start there is no point trying. Allowing more pick changes should give everyone a better chance at competing.

Even with a bad start you can travel up the leader board quite quickly before first pick i was near the bottom and finished around 26th that was my highest finish in years. i think the changes will be great and will add more excitement.
Yep, I love this idea. I'm always stuck deciding between two people I want to get rid of on pick change day, so I'm hoping this should help a lot! :D
Cena's bloody open challenge killed most of us at the beginning :p
I think the 2 people switch is a great idea. There is always someone getting hurt or having to do a movie or some kind of promotion. Whatever you decide I think will be good. Just cant wait for the next season to start!!!

I reckon that is a great idea Kam. I have been screwed over the past couple of FWL with retirements, injuries and leavers. I think two changes per pick change week would be about right.

Another possible idea would be some sort of wildcard where you can make unliminted changes per week like you get with Fantasy Premier League?

I did think about this but I think it would take away some of the fun. Allowing unlimited changes weekly would mean players end up changing picks based on tapings or results that have yet to be scored in the game. By making players try and predict who will win/get the push makes it far more interesting in my view.

The changes have been coded...I just need to test them now so will do this over the weekend hopefully.

Sorry about the delay...life got in the way :p

It's all been tested now and everything works fine! :D

I've set it so that I can select how many pick changes are available on the pick change day at the start of the season. So we could have 2 changes per pick change...or 3...or 4 or even 7! This means potentially you could change your entire team during the pick change.

Any of you have any suggestions on what would be a good number, should we keep it low at 2 or 3...or allow more?

Current plans are for the season to begin with the Raw following SummerSlam.

I'll be posting the brackets up soon, I've hardly watched any WWE over the past month so will need input! :-O

I think we should keep it a 1 - 3.

I'd like to pitch in another idea for future seasons. What we could do in a similar fashion to the Premier League fantasy league, is have picks open all season on Mondays to avoid recorded tapings, where you have 1 or 2 free pick changes but if you want to change more than 3 wrestlers, because you're totally bombing, you will also receive a point deduction per pick (maybe 5 to 20 points?). So it adds to the competition because you're risking your own points to try and gain positive results in the long run.

i think it should be kept low maybe just 2 incase of injuries.

I did actually think about the Mondays idea before but the issue would be with PPVs. I won't be adding any PPV points until Monday nights so that could mess things up. Plus when they go abroad I think they tend to tape Raw earlier on a Monday so some people could read spoilers before Raw airs.

I do like the idea of gambling with your points to gain an extra pick change, that could be fun. One of the ideas I was toying with was maybe having one pick change that could be selected in the user control panel at any time in the game...so you could do it in week 1 or the final week. I could maybe tie the two ideas into one although I don't know how easy it will be to implement.

At the moment I'm going with 2 changes per pick change unless I get anymore feedback on this.

I'd like the idea of a possible wildcard being available to use whenever the user wants, similar to how fantasy football works, but I don't know if that is very hard to put together and work properly? Another idea is maybe if a wrestler does get injured, then you can automatically replace them?
injuries are the one thing that can't be planned on... and as I guy who suffered from a retirement and an injury last season... you can NOT drop your guy right away...them's is the breaks (see what I did there)
Yeah, being able to swap out your injuries takes away the unknown element to making your picks. I pretty much killed off an entire season by picking CM Punk as my main guy just days before he walked out! :lol
