DC 536
Also has Tough Enough started on the Network yet?? Keep getting some highlight show? The first episode has aired in the US on June 23rd, but it's not a Network show, so may be a while before it's on there. In the US, it's showing on the USA Network (which also has RAW). In the UK, WWE is streaming the episodes live on their YouTube channel (www.youtube.com/WWE) at 1am. Episode 1 https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BizQ_B2YvRk The live sections are in the Full Sail Arena, so it's weird to see it look so different. Also, ZZ is fantastic, Alexander's tattoo is stunning and Tanner is the early favourite.
Guest Ciaran The King
Surely this would a perfect show for the Network? makes no sense not making it available on WWE's subscription service
dsrchris 190
Well it does make sense if USA Network are paying WWE for it. Which they no doubt are.
Guest Ciaran The King
I get that but surely Tough Enough will be watched specifically by diehard WWE fans, the ones the network was basically created for?
DC 536
I get that but surely Tough Enough will be watched specifically by diehard WWE fans, the ones the network was basically created for? It's on the same channel that airs RAW; their most-watched show. As has been said as well, WWE will be getting paid for this instead of having to fund it for themselves and as for the die-hard fans; they will find a way to watch it (maybe by some like-minded soul posting a YouTube video perhaps). DC 536
Should the Tought Enough comments be moved to their own thread? I'll happily post the videos of each episode when it's uploaded to YouTube going forward. Anyway; back t'show. The following is a genuine, verbatim, quote from this week's episode -: “You don’t have to know history, you don’t have to know wrestlers, you don’t have to know matches, I don’t have to know anything about this sport… Knowledge means nothing.” I can imagine who is going to get chewed out on this week's Tough Talk (which is already on YouTube, but I'm not watching it yet as it's a post-show and will spoil who got eliminated). On last week's, Daniel Bryan, The Miz (who hosts TT), Paige and Hogan called the cast out on their stupid comments, especially Daniel Bryan when Hank (who was eventually eliminated in Ep.1) said Tanner - who is bigger than DB - was too small to make it in WWE. Guest bigmatt
The ratings have been poor for this apparently.
dsrchris 190
That's a shame, because I actually like the way Bryan and Paige are dealing with folks, especially calling the contestants out on their sh*t. This probably means they're gonna try to ramp up the "real life" sections from the house they're all stopping in to try and create some drama and pick up the ratings. Guest Sparrow
Is the winner down to public voting? Surely ZZ has got this in the bag if it is? I think Patrick, Tanner, ZZ and Yeti are all going to get signed anyway. Bags of potential there, with ZZ and Patrick being 18 and 19 respectively. DC 536
ZZ is like the white angel on your shoulder against Bray Wyatt's devil. As for the voting; the judges put one person up for elimination and then the public vote on who to save. The judges also have one save they can use to keep someone in (I believe until the final). I imagine when it gets down to the wire, the public may not be involved in the decision.
