Wasn't Summerslam a two hour pre-show and then a four hour PPV? Surely it will be in the same format this time?

Will they need all that time for six matches though? I know that the Elimination Tag Matches take a while but still.

Yeah thats what I mean - with the pre-show included, its 6 hours...thats still stupidly long.

That's the new standard for the big 4 events.
People get bored after watching a movie for 4 hours, so surely WWE should realise the same applies to them
Best thing to do is watch it the next day. That way you can cover the Kick-Off matches (if you want) and the PPV matches, but skip past all the talking-heads and recaps between bouts.
They are yet to understand 3 hours of raw every week is too much
Its what I do now, I watch Sunday Night Football, if I fall asleep ho-hum and then the next day start picking at the bits I want to see from the PPV's. For instance I didn't bother with Orton v Brock and I doubt I'll bother with Brock v Goldberg this time out.

Surely, Brock vs. Goldberg will be the shortest match on the card, right? Unless they draw it out with a lot of posturing and time-killing, there's no way this match goes very long.

To me, the 10-on-10 Tag Match should definitely be on the Kickoff. If the Kickoff is indeed going to be two hours, this match can easily fill a good chunk of that time. Plus, with guys like The Shining Stars and Breezango in the match, the 10-on-10 has Kickoff written all over it.

On paper, there's not a lot that draws me to this pay-per-view. I'm really more interested in Goldberg/Lesnar, the IC Title match, and the Cruiserweight Title match. No matter your thoughts on Goldberg vs. Lesnar in 2016, you have to be at least a bit interested in it as a wrestling fan. Sure there's a good chance it will be a train wreck but no matter what happens people will be talking about it.

For me, I'm more interested in title matches on pay-per-views especially in this case because, in a month or two, who's really going to care who was the superior brand at Survivor Series? I'm interested to see if WWE really does make the smart move and have the Intercontinental Title and Cruiserweight Title swap brands. I have a hard time seeing Sami Zayn beat Dolph Ziggler for the title, but it all really hinders on if the Cruiserweight Title switches brands or not. Knowing WWE, they will probably do nothing with the titles and keep them where they are.

Well, the three-hour RAW is USA Network's call, not WWE's.

How is it the right thing for the IC title to move to Raw? They have the US title as their mid card title already, there is no point in them having two midcard titles because even though Raw has more talent it still doesn't have enough to support two mid card titles, their tag belts and the Universal title.

I know Smackdown isn't exactly crawling with midcard talent either to challenge Ziggler (hence the inter-promotional match here) but it would be better to move the Cruisers over there and establish them as credible before perhaps moving them into the midcard title picture as well - much like when wrestlers graduate from being Jr. Heavyweights in NJPW to fully fledged heavyweights...

You know what? I hadn't even thought about that. For some reason, I didn't even think about it like that. I was just thinking in terms of the number of titles.

Charlotte isn't losing so her team wins, Tag team could go either way, but wouldn't be surprised in New Day is last team standing, Men's match could also go either way, maybe someone defect to the other team, likely ambrose to raw to reform the shield as is being rumored, Zayn beats ziggler, Kalisto over kendrick, cruiserweight division moves to Smackdown, Lesnar vs Goldberg, I have no interest in this match.

The Cruiserweights are being moved over to Smackdown (205 Live will be aired after Smackdown, so it makes sense for the CW roster to move).

Exactly. I think that's why the match was made for Survivor Series. It's a convenient way for them to move the division to Tuesday nights without having to come up with a storyline reason.

I hadn't heard of any Shield reunion rumors. I can't see them doing that though. At this stage of their respective careers, putting Ambrose, Rollins, and Reigns back together would be a step down.

You know what I mean though. They don't have to come up with some complicated trade angle to explain everything. They can just have one interpromotional match.

Also, after Tuesday's SmackDown LIVE, it will now be The Miz defending the Intercontinental Title against RAW's Sami Zayn. Miz defeated Dolph Ziggler to win his sixth Intercontinental Title on SmackDown.
