For whatever reason we sometimes get into shows a little bit later than other people. I'm currently watching multiple shows that ended several years ago. Am I the only one who is perpetually late to jump on the bandwagon? What shows have you had this experience with? Do you look up spoilers?

I usually watch shows that are further into the seasons because I am very impatient. I can't wait a week for a new episode to come out, or months even! So I'd rather just watch when I can watch it for hours.
Unfortunately, the ole job takes me away from the telly. I binged most of Game of Thrones. That was an adventure! I don't look up spoilers and am happy to have the storyline play out as it is. It doesn't upset me if I happen to run across spoilers though. I'd say they're unavoidable really.
Like @FlyyGurl, I usually wait until a show has been around before starting. I'm just so accustomed to binge-watching these days that it's difficult for me to handle that week-to-week wait. That being said, there are some shows that I'm too interested in to wait for.
I hate when you get really invested in a show only to find its been canceled after season 1

I've watched a lot of shows after they were over (or were almost over). There are so many shows on right now that it's impossible to have time to watch everything. Some of them are bound to slip through the cracks. When that happens, it usually takes me a while to find them again.

That's the worst. If I'm on the fence about starting a show, I'll wait until it's renewed for a second season before getting invested. so many shows don't make it past their first season. It's pretty sad.

I'm a dedicated binge-watcher. It's easier to fit programmes into my schedule that way and there's no waiting for the cliff-hanger to resolve. I actually seek out spoilers. If a programme is eventually going off the rails I want to know before I invest a lot of time and emotional energy into it. Though now that I think about it, even if I dislike what the spoilers reveal I keep on watching - Game of Thrones and The Walking Dead are prime examples. The only problem with binge-watching is the ridiculous amount of crisps I eat.
