Growing up, I used to love playing soccer, basketball, table tennis and hockey. I guess I would have been a sportsperson, had I pursued this cause to the very end, if not a musician with a mastery of the guitar. How interesting that at times we choose a completely different path!

In a parallel universe, I may be the president of a country. However, I'm not into dreaming of what I could become, instead I do the things that makes me happy so there won't be any what if's in the future.
I used to wish I was around during Beatlemania. It would be crazy but cool waiting in line for the newest record or concert tickets. Now, I sometimes wonder what it would be like growing up in the same decade but in a newer multicultural place, like Hong Kong or Singapore. Probably fun, but only if I had wealthy parents.

Just like @didge, I also loved soccer and wanted to go pro someday. Perhaps I should have put more effort into achieving that goal. So maybe, in a different life I would be a soccer star.

I think in another life I would like to be born to a relatively well-off family, living in one of the beautiful houses in York - perhaps close to the city centre, and within the city walls. I would have a really good job, and I would drive a Mercedes. I would take my holidays in the South of France, and I would go skiing in Chamonix in the winter.

I would often eat out, and sometimes go to pretty wine bars. I would have a lovely boyfriend, and we would go travelling together, to places like Venice and Dubrovnik.

Oh, but this is just a dream - in my real life I do not have such a good job, and I currently have no boyfriend. Oh well, it's nice to dream sometimes.

I would like to try out being an ancient Briton prior to the arrival of the Romans. There is so much evidence of the Romans in Britain, the roads they built, the buildings, the history, that I would like to see what Britain was actually like before they came.

The wisdom used to be that the ancient Brits were some kind of barbarians, and that the Romans brought culture and civilization with them, but now the evidence is leaning towards the idea that the ancient Britons had a pretty advanced culture of their own - with long straight roads, democracy, and suchlike.

I would have loved to be anything, but not a celebrity since constantly being in the limelight isn't something that most people are used to. This makes them live a lie and fool many people into assuming that they have a perfect life.
