I finished reading the review about the Aquaman. There were movies that I had a similar experience as the article mentioned about the Aquaman movie. I actually don't have a plan to see Aquaman, but the review lit up my interest in watching it so I may see it this weekend.

I hadn't paid attention to the reviews but now I am even eager to watch it too. I have always loved epic movies and it seems that this isn't going to disappoint too.
It has a lot of action scenes, although I'm a bit disappointed with Black Manta because he is so full of himself that he thought he can defeat Arthur. Also, there were scenes when someone mentioned that the King of Atlantis will unite the surface world and Atlantis. It never happened in that movie.

I never expected to like Shrek and only went to see it at the cinema because my best mate begged me to go. The film was incredibly funny and the plot was engaging. I couldn't believe how enjoyable it was to see. I've seen all the sequels since then and all of them are spectacular.
Fast & The Furious was this way for me. My ex wife had been a big fan of the series and when Fast 5 came out, she convinced me to catch up on the series. I had just assumed it'd be a brainless car/action movie, but I actually like it a lot. I think the story was pretty good. And the action is great. And stuff.

Speaking of The Fast and The Furious, there is a new spin-off movie about it, although the gang won't be present in this movie because only Hobbs and Shaw will be the main characters.
A movie that went this way for me was the Clive Owen film Shoot 'Em Up. I watched it on a whim because there was nothing else playing and it ended up being a riot. I laughed from start to finish. It's one of my favourite films.
