jack25 13
I stand corrected but from a global point of view, this sport is still growing. Outside of the United States, very few people can name two or three popular UFC fighters. Are we soon going to see it being a popular sport on the global stage and what needs to be done for us to get there?
Gareth The Great 20
I'd say it's popular in the UK and Canada too. We have TWO members from these areas who are into MMA. I believe it's also popular in Brazil if you go by some of the fighters' backgrounds.
Guest Pumba
This sport is popular in the whole world, but some countries are stricter than others so the sport is not given enough exposure. ONE Championship is quite popular in South East Asia.
jack25 13
I agree that to some extent, individual countries are to blame in as far as the popularity is concerned. We would all love to get to a point where it is as popular as soccer or basketball, with a professional competition in each country.
Guest Castle
Apart from some exceptions, such as the fight between Connor McGregor and Khabib Nurmagomedov, MMA fights are usually not promoted very heavily. However, I believe the sport is still growing in popularity and may be really popular in a few years.
