I wasn't bothered by it, I was just wondering why an in-shape woman needs one. She doesn't have a gym membership? If people have that kind of money to spend, more power to 'em.

@TynBox I'm assuming the premise is that she wouldn't be fit if she didn't have the fancy bike.

I've rarely been put off by ads and don't often pay attention to them. I'm a runner, but if I was going to cycle I'd much rather do it outside. I'd get terribly bored otherwise, even on a high-tech bike like that.

I'm not into exercising or riding a bike, but I'm super into the Peloton bike. Seriously, their ads suck me in every time. It's nothing I'd normally be interested in so it fascinates me that they're able to make me want one. If I had a Peloton bike I'd never get on the darn thing and I'd grow to resent the monthly fees.
What if she were the one getting her husband the Peloton? Would the ad suddenly not be sexist? It is a pricey gift, but a gift that promotes health IMO.
I like how the actress immediately got booked for a "sequel" for Aviation Gin. It's a pretty amusing reaction ad! She made out better than the guy playing the husband.

The actress, Monica Ruiz, got offered a part on a soap opera, and she's been on at least one talk show plus a number of articles. Seems like the actor got shut out (cancelled?) though.
Just goes to show that if you get the attention of the public, television will find a place for you. I have no problem with that, but that's why I don't watch a lot of television. I stay close to quality and you don't find a lot that anymore.
