You betcha! They say when you have nothing else to talk about, you talk about the weather. But this...….Gloomy Seattle takes the cake.

Would you move there if you got a killer job opportunity? Knowing what the weather is like?

On one hand, I kind of like the idea where the weather can make you feel like the end of the world is right around the corner.

On the other hand, that's got to mess with your head after awhile.

Sure! I would miss having four seasons, but if the job were right, I'd go for it. The darkness would be a good reason to have more coffee more often.

Looks lovely. Makes you wonder what the night looks like.

Yes whaleshark, more coffee is never a bad thing. I wonder if people in Seattle grow their own? It would make sense, especially on horrid days like that.

You don't want to know. Shadow Demons creeping out of back alleys, Grey's hovering above it all, not worried about concealment as the clouds have our backs on nights like that, and the air so thick with with wet that you WILL pass out if you breathe too much outdoors.

We love Seattle. :D

I keep my curtains closed if it looks too light outside. Overcast weather makes me feel calmer than bright sunshine, too. I should move there!
When the curtains are closed, you control your own environment. From warm candlelight to the steady functionality of flourescent lighting. I can see that being very beneficial in cities like London and Seattle.

I've spent time there. I like the cloudy, cold, and sprinkle-y weather. Traffic sucks there and among the surrounding towns, though, and it seems like the city keeps becoming more like one big Amazon campus.
Hmm. I think I prefer having four distinct seasons, at least until or if climate change does away with that. The Seattle coffee scene sounds great, but it seems easier than ever to find a decent cup in many places.
