has anyone seen the latest Daily poll on WWE.com? It asks who you would like to see sign with the WWE. The list of options are

1. Bret Hart

2. Lex Luger

3. Randy Savage

4. Sid

5. Sting

At the moment sting is leading the race. I wonder, that with all the rumours concerning Sting, are the WWE trying to find out how the crowds would react if they brought Sting in? Whether he would be taken to, or revolted against? or are they just getting the rumour mill running again? your thoughts please.

I would like to see Sting in WWE but it would be up to WWE to utilise him correctly for him to get over with the WWE fans and have him not flop like Steiner

How about WWE signing someone under the age of 40. They can't keep just signing big names and not use them properly. There is so much amazing talent in the indys/Nwa. Seeing as Bret woudn't be wrestling I'd go for sting of that list but I'd rather see Lo Ki or Chris Daniels etc.

I cringed when I saw this list up on WWE.com. I picked Bret as he would be able to play a general manager type role. I wouldn't want any of the other lot near a WWE ring really. Maybe Sting but I haven't seen any of him lately so I'm not sure if he'd still be up to much.

I agree witht the crippler on this one has to be said, Sting may be rubbish know or was he even good to begine with (Debatable)

 

Although Bret for co-general manager of Smackdown would be cool

What the hell was wrong with Sid. His feud with Shawn, Bret, Taker and Austin in 97 was amazing.

 

P.S. Does this mean WWE are considering signing one of these guys? and if so are they finally gonna listen to the fans and bring back Bret.

Sting all the way! The only problem is I can't see him marrying up his Christain beliefs with the smut that WWE often promote - he's been critical in the past andI reckon that it'll cause problems if he does join.

Bret - Ever since his stroke he hasn't been able to speak properly, let alone wrestle. Just for his pride's sake, he shouldn't sign a long-term deal to the WWE.

 

Luger - Won't be touched with a bargepole after his drug arrests

 

Savage - Won't go anywhere near the WWE whilst Hogan is there

 

Sid - Won't ever walk properly again after Sin 2000, and is crap on the mic (remember the 'can we do this again' on live TV?)

 

Sting - Most likely of the 5. Still got it in him if the WWA reports are to be believed, and as for the Christianity side, HBK seems to be doing alright.

I wouldnt mind seeing Hart come back for a few months. Luger I have never rated. Savage would be cool, but like someone else said, while Hogan is in WWE, Savage wont be. Sid really bites. I wouldnt mind seeing Sting, but I doubt he would be all that impressive now.

Bret Hart = Keen on a one off deal to come back to say goodbye to his fans - I must stress on "off-deal" - he can speak properly now - his speech at the WWA recent PPV was said to be very emotional and extraordinary - one of the best Hitman promos.

 

Lex Luger = Before the drugs bust - he had a HIGH chance of joining the WWE again and possibly be Mr. America - after that - forget it till the drugs situation becomes quiet - which could take YEARS

 

Randy Savage = Another possiblity - but his wage demands could be too much for WWE, to clarify Chris2K, Savage could be in WWE whilst Hogan is there - they can just barely be professional - they just say "hello" to each other and thats all.

 

Sid = Not interested - he is trying to make a new career as a actor in horror films

 

Sting = A high possiblity - out of the list - he is the most likely - also remember, rumours all over the world has him linked to WWE in the summer.
