Personally I think that the guy is, he was one of the greatest performers and then he left. Now he only ever comes back to help sell his book, resently he spent alot of time critising the wwe, but once again a new book comes out and he is back on TV. He only ever seems to come back for the money, never the fans.

Apparently he has been getting alot of heat back stage as well from other wrestlers.

So I was wondering what you all thought of him?

So what if Mick Foley criticised the WWE, he's a wrestling fan and if he thinks WWE is doing some things he dosen't agree with, then he has the right to criticse. besides, this is lame compared to many wrestlers who have spit on the WWE only to be too happy to join when the price is right

i don't think he said he would never ever go back.

i think MIck does comeback for the fans. he misses entertaining them and making fans get emoitionally pulled into a storyline. if he was in it for the money, he would have done a half-assed job doing a promo. in my mind- he's actually made the HHH vs Nash HIAC match more intresting

persoanlly i couldn't care of his motives for him coming back for a breif while. he still entertains me (as he did on this past RAW) and for now that's all that matters to me

Unfornatuely in this world - most of them are sell outs, amongst them are Roddy Piper, Goldberg, Sable.

And each of them has joined WWE.

I had hoped Foley wouldn't be one of them - but regardless he'll be a legend no matter what.

Foley is GOD

Mick Foley didnt plug his book once during RAW by the way.

I don't think a book on the American Civil War would be the objective. Afterall, ho many people, never mind wrestling fans, are interested in that?

And no, I don't think he is a sell-out. Give me Foley, and give me more now!

Foley is back??????????

Perhaps I may just have to watch Raw next week.

Foley is god!

If Mick Foley is a sell out then what does that make Hogan and Flair. They tried to destroy WWE when they were at WCW and they came crawling back.

When he was in the WWE Foley gave everything to the fans if he wants to plug his books i thin he deserves it dosen't he.

By the way is he staying after Bad Blood. I sure hope so.

I dunno if Foley is gonna be on Raw I'm assuming Bad Blood is gonna be a one shot thing but I might be wrong

Foley isn't a sell out, neither is Hogan or Flair. Hogan has nothing to sell-out, because he's an ass who uses what he can then leaves. Flair is a legend who puts young guys over. The only gripe I have against Foley is that he's a hypocrite, see, his mentor is Funk, and what did Funk do?...break his retirement vows (that's vowS) time and time again and Foley is just doing the same thing.

It's a shame really, because Funk is probably known more as a clumsy old fool, as opposed to the late 1970's/early 1980's All Japan technician. If Foley isn't careful, he'll become a comedy figure like Funk did, but I guess that's already happened with the pathetic Socko speil.

It's good thing that Foley built such a legend for himself before the the latter part of his career (I.E his WWF/E career)

Flair and Hogan "came crawling back"?...complete and utter pish. Vince wanted them, they didn't go to Vince and he's a fool for working with Hogan again. Flair on the other hand is willing to be the company-man he always was. Hogan and Flair never tried to destroy the WWF, they merely worked for a rival promotion, whose management was inter-locked in a bitter feud with the WWF and vice versa.

Hey man other people have opinions too, DEAL WITH IT!

Lol saying Flair and Hogan "came crawling back" isn't an opinion, it's factually wrong.

Don't see how you can argue with that really... Vince needed both of them far more than they needed him at the time.

But anyway, I do respect Mick Foley as a legend, but that doesn't mean his opinions are right. In my opinion, just like Bret Hart, all he does is talk pish these days. I think he suffers from that old main event syndrome every worker unfortunately seems to get when they've been to the top of the business. Which is a shame.

I hope he doesn't stay on Raw for long because even after one show he was starting to get on my tits. In my personal opinion I think the guy can come across as quite phoney when he's doing his whole commisioner type act "HHH I know you're that damn good, cause you beat my ass" ...BLA BLA BLA SHUT UP FOLEY. We remember that you put him over already. Now just go away, and stop complaining about the WWE if you're going to be a part of it.

To answer the original question, I don't think he is selling out, he's just being hypocritical and generally annoying. Get the mask on already and jump off scaffoldine already. :P

Foley has sold out... EVERY ARENA HE'S WORKED IN!

seriously i don't think he has sold out, but kissing HHH's ass was pretty sickening although he did balance a little that with the 3 counts.

Perhaps he's bringing up the history between him and HHH to build up the "HHH intimidating Foley angle"?
Nah, he always did it when he was playing his commissioner role as well. There was no need for this Foley being intimidated by HHH angle in the first place. It's pathetic. Plus I really don't think Foley had to say "I know your that damn good" etc. You can't say all that sucking up was neccessary surely?
or maybe it's just what the the booker want Mick to say. lets face it- Mick Foley is not the only face to suck up to HHH when involved in a fued with him
