WWE Smackdown: Here Comes The Pain is the next edition to the smackdown! games on ps2. I've read a magazine about it and it looks pretty good with all new features. It mentions Goldberg and Rey Mysterio, as well as blood being in the matches. (plus the Elimination chamber!!!)

Anyway, I just wanted to know where you can get any reviews/previews of the game, any pictures ect?

I'm very interested in it and can't wait until it comes out.

Also, don't you think they should make a wrestling game that is compatible to be played online via ur ps2 or x-box? ( i know u can play x-box online in the uk, America can play ps2 online and the UK can't but that will soon change!?! (i hope)

Give me your thoughts and links please...

only thing i would suggest is use one of the search engines and type it in or go to a games website:)

Theres a big feature in the PSW magazine, with pics of blood, the Elimination Chamber, Goldberg and Rey Mysterio, and Bra and Panties matches, if you are willing to part with £3.99 :)

Also, I think there might be some screens at wwepictures1.cjb.net.

Yeah i got that PSW, pretty good feature and the game looks great. Blood is a great edition finally! and the interview with trish and booker in the mag is cool. i havent had a chance to watch the DVD yet, but it has an interview with test on it.

Yea, I read that too, looks kwl. The DVD's ok.... explains something about creating the SD games...
Does anyone now if there's actually a date set for this game yet? Do you think it will be out before Christmas? (They usually are, due to obvious reasons)
As far as i can tell there has been no definite release date, however normally they release them around november. THQ are getting like EA sports and releasing yearly updates at the same time every year.
I'm really looking forward to this game, I hope it's not gonna turn out to be crap :roll
I called my local gamestop and they said October 29th.
Thanks man. It's appreciated ;)

Anytime

Excellent. If the Rock's new intro titantron is included, I'm buying it.

I heard Zach Gowen's gonna be in it, will he have one or two legs?

Joke right? :?

Don't see how they'd manage to have Gowen in the game: certainly not as a playable/computer controlled in-ring character. Once you'd selected all these great moves for your CAW you'd find that wrestling him would be slightly boring: no irish whips, no Ankle Lock (work the left remember?), so as bad as he must be to wrestle in real life, it'd be amazingly dull in a game.

Imagine trying to execute a figure-four leglock or a sharpshooter on Zach.

Ain't gonna happen, I'm afraid. I shouldn't laugh, but I do... xD

If THQ want to get it right, he should walk to the ring with 2 and wrestle with one. Hopfully it will show him pulling his peg leg off.

I can't imagine them giving him 2 legs for the game, that'd just be wrong...

LOL. They do have new feautures though, more realistic. So if the Hurricane can't pick up the Big Show there's no reason why someone could put a figure four on Zach? I think THQ are smarter than that...

I honestly think its a bit too late too put Zach into the game, and to be honest, is it really worth it? I mean with the new features of small guys not picking up big guys, i cant see a Zach character being able to do very many moves on anyone. And of course you would get the usual uproar from various watchdog groups complaining aboout what is being put to "our children".

It won't happen - Zach will not be in the game because the development team will have done the core game engine - and when they're done it - it's done - adding Zach will delay the launch even further - at least by 4 weeks.

Trust me, I know about that.
