UK release date anyone?!?!
It was orginally scheduled to be 21st November, but I think it has been forwarded to the 7th.
Also confirmed is the fact that one of the premade CAWs is a banana. Look out for the Banana Split legged moonsault.

I'm a bit confused :?

On the description, Amazon say that it is release this Friday, but on my order, it says 24th-25th Novemeber. Anyone know for sure :?

Its available now on Play.com .

But its not really advisable to order stuff at the moment untill the postal strike backlog is cleared.

Ooh, where to start?

First of all, it was set for late November. Then all shops but Argos changes to 7th November, while Argos say that they'll have it a few days earlier. Now Argos are changing their date to late November again, which is dead wrong as the game has shipped and has been sent out, and anyone smart enough to order with Gameplay.com (ie- me) will wake up to the game in their letterbox tommorrow morning, a day before the proper UK release. GAME's philosiphy is that they can only sell a game before it's release date if another GAME store is selling it, and believe me, they will phone up and check. So if you've not pre-ordered, go to your local GAME and ask at the till for HCTP, and say that other stores have been selling it for the past day or two.

As for Amazon, I'm sure they'll have it in stock, it's just a case of when they'll send it out. The controversy over the release date has probably confused Amazon and their schedule hasn't been updated, but a company as large as they are will certainly have the game shipped.

If you've ordered from Play.com, the game is listed as "Available Now", but it's thought that you'll need to wait until Friday if you've pre-ordered it.

As for Argos, I don't have a clue what's going on. Your best bet is to ask in store.

The lesson is that Gameplay.com are the best firm in the UK when it comes to buying games. They're cheap, extremely fast, uber-reliable and they have a brilliant online help facility which lets you chat online one on one with a Gameplay.com employee, who will answer any questions you have.

That's Gameplay.com. :)

Thanks for your help! Even if Amazon dispatch on time, I@m sure they'll be effected by the Postal backlog.

I've been playing HCTP since something to 9 this morning, and I'm loving every second of it.

I'm not going to bore you with info that you already know, but if anyone has a question about the game, I'll answer it if you can't wait for tommorrow.

Are all themes in?

Everything except RVD (he has his Alliance theme), Kane (he has his old music), Victoria (she has a similar song to Tatu without words) and Stacy (who I don't even know if she uses Kid Rock any more, but if she does it's not in).

And while Flair's music isn't in, he does have the Evolution song, so it's not all bad.

To be honest, after I've seen every entrance once I turn off themes at the main menu, and I've been doing the same since SD!2. It takes longer for matches to start, and I very rarely watch an entire entrance if I know what it's like.

Don't let that put you off the game though, music aside, it's superb.

I do the same, i went out and bought it this morning and i think its fantastic. The new grappling system is cool, and the Elimination Chamber match is the best around.

You can save yourself a tenner if you get it from Play.com

Ed

You can ALWAYS save yourself money by buying online - but it means you can't walk away with it in your grubby little mitts and play it immediately :)

That's not usually a problem for me - I bought Onimusha 2 last November and haven't played it yet! :lol

I've also got Summoner (Christmas present) and Activision Anthology (cheap off Ebay) that I've not got round to playing! :D

Ed

don't bother buying online, cause i get points on my loyalty card if i buy it from GAME :D
